The player points carry over so I still use the cryptocounter.

They are points you can use for freerolls. Next month they are having a 100k tourney and you need 5000 points to enter. Later this month they are also have satelites for the 100k tourney and you need 200 points for the satelites. | | Static Link |

from the pokerplex newsletter:
"All Poker Plex players will automatically be enrolled to MPP, which can be earned either by Playing Ring Games as from January 1st 2006, or by playing in tournaments as from March 30th 2006!
MPPs balance will be viewed on the lobby. MPPs can be used as buy-ins in free-roll tournaments, free-roll tournaments for super-satellites for big events, or can even be used to pay for tournament entry fees.
