Well I decided not to play here....it's pretty much stupid how their cash system works...they advertise all these high-deposit bonuses yet you can only deposit $400 max.....and once you deposit, you can't deposit again ...they are SOOOOOOOO stupid.

Basically the cards are not random. To put it into perspective these games Slotland offers could not be licensed in Nevada because they would be considered rigged machines. In Nevada games offering cards must be random just as a deck of cards would be. These are not. A formula decides a payout % and the RNG comes up with prize amounts. I guess if it was time to hit a royal and you tossed 4 to a royal you would have hit then you would redraw a 5 card royal. As long as you understand that when playing then I guess it is fair enough.

Though I will add that I also agree that their CSR's are polite & they (Slotland) do pay their winners. Though, if they are still only processing on Monday's then they need to get with times.

This disclaimer was only placed on site because someone here posted (2006)about the VP playing like a slot not VP. From memory there was a big stink about it. Slotland then added the disclaimer.

Yes it is, all games at SLOTLAND are SLOTS.
That said, I remember playing their BJ ersion too, and it is a fun game.

The cards in VP (and BJ, for that matter) in Slotland are not dealt from a 52-card deck.
You can get redealt the same card that you discarded in VP. Like aka23 said, it raises the house edge to levels as if you were playing slots.
If you don't mind that, go ahead and play it. But having a game that looks like BJ or VP, but really isn't because it's based on slot percentages, is just plain deceptive IMHO.
(And Slotland's disclaimer, wherever it's posted on their site, is nowhere near enough to fairly warn the player ... not unless it's in big, red, flashing font on every single page)

Yes, that is full pay JoB. I meant that with random distribution of a standard deck, you'd expect to get a pair 21% of the time, 2 pairs 13% of the time, 3 of a kind 7% of the time, etc. If outcomes are determined by slot machine probablities rather than VP probabilities, then you might get a pair 20% of the time, 2 pairs 10% of the time, 3 of kind 5% of the time, etc. The overall payout of the game wouldn't be 99.54% any more. It would be something else, probably close to the payout of a slot machine.
Again, I have never played here and have no idea whether this is the case or not.

Heh, sorry, but I still don't understand what you mean. What does it mean when you say that VP operates like a slot? What's the difference whether or not it operates like a slot? To me, the VP looks like it's the same as any other casino, with the added chance of winning the progressive jackpot if you bet maximum. I noticed that ALL their games have the progressive jackpot on the top and that you have a chance of winning as long as one or more of your bets are maximum.

Do you mean slot based as in every game gives you a chance to win the progressive jackpot?
Also for the "Magic" slot game, could someone explain what happens after you spell MAGIC and get the bonus spins? Is everything x50? Would it be beneficial for me to double up my bets (and put one on max bet) when I have 4/5 letters?

I think they are fine to play.
Their slots are unusual and "retro", but if you play them you find they have some really unique features that makes it fun.
Just be aware that ALL games are slot based, the VP games are also slots.

I joined through GoneGambling, I knew that all the games were slots at the time due to previous postings.
Although I have never cashed out, their CS is polite, responsive, and normally fast, probably as fast as Casino Action in replying to most E-mails.
The games are not traditional slots by any means, there are about a dozen games, many bear little resemblance to a traditional slot, and some are more like UK "Fruit Machines" of old, where the players actions can actually influence the payout percentage, I.e skill based slots.
One thing to bear in mind is that all of their games share a single progressive pool, and the top win (the progressive) is not dealt or spun in naturally, but determined by an underlying RNG that decides when the progressive will hit.

Slotland is one of the most honest casinos in the business with years of track records to prove it.
I stand behind Slotland 100% - and have never seen anything untoward.
If there was a webmaster issue - then that happens everywhere.
Typos happen.
However - Slotland has excellent customer service - and has treated me like royalty for many years.
Not to mention - GoneGambling is a ery good, reputable portal - and if they support Slotland, I'd have to say their word is better than any other online review or Gambling Commission.

Gonegambling does not endorse any online casino litely. Slotland is on the up-and-up. As long as you understand that every game on the site is a SLOT...including the blackjack game and the ideo poker...you're good. Slotland is honest, and they pay.

if you go to the logo that says they are gamblig commissioner approved you'll see that it does't even work. it hasn't worked in the 7 years that i have been trying to send a message.
