What I said was that the regular posters here don't post complaints (as a rule). I think my exact words were that many of them have probably hit bumps in the road, but use the resources of the forum the WAY THEY WERE INTENDED TO BE USED. That means PM'ing a rep if there is one, giving a casino a reasonable amount of time to rectify a problem and posting as a last resort.

Fair enough simmo ... and I appreciate the forum in question may be motivated by seeing this one as competition .... but its neutral "players only" forums also now.
You say what to do? Well look at tennis balls post above yours. Do something about that would be a good start.
That is exactly the kind of thing that should be addressed.
If you want more than 20 people posting on here regularly then you need to sort him out.

Ah there's always sniping on other forums...that's just par for the course from some places. I could name at least three forums that thrive off slagging CM, usually whipped up by the same people But once again most people know who's who and it is good entertainment at times.
But you're right in that this thread has had its share of name-calling which is sad IMO.
This problem will come up over and over. You ain't ever gonna "solve" it - not now, nor tomorrow. So why drag it out? All we're all achieving now is winding each other up

Well the issue is resolved, it wasn't even a particularly important one in the first place, and the odd post aside, the last few pages of posts are all related to who said what to whom and how, so it is just heading into personal territory now. By all means continue but I'd suggest another thread, maybe in Wild Cards or this forum if you feel its more relevant.

If you do post a complaint again, then I suggest 1) you state how you would like it resolved and 2) you notify the casino rep so he/she can facilitate it.

"Ditto" referred to the part of the quoted post (which I bolded) where the poster mentioned having to send in copies of a bank statement, etc. in a similar situation. I was agreeing that this had also happened to me in the past, I actually had to copy and paste my online CC statement twice and email it to the casino in question on subsequent days. FYI.....in that instance, it took days for the situation to be rectified and I certainly never started a thread here complaining about it. Was I annoyed? Absolutely, but I dealt with it. And it wasn't 32Red, BTW.
In reference to the poster's names I mentioned, they can ouch for themselves...but as far as I know, none of them are affiliates. As a matter of fact, Macgyver is a self-professed bonus hunter. If anyone should have had problems, you'd think it would be him. I had previously mentioned KasinoKing in another post (as a regular here), but deliberately left him out as he IS an affiliate, with an active website. Why would we need to change the title ? I was disappotined then and I still am. Just because I seem to have come out of this with some money doesn't mean everything is automatically rectified and ok ! The way it was handled was disappointing and that's why I named the thread that title. If someone wants to add in something on the end of the title to indicate they think 32 Red sorted it out properly then yeah I guess that's fair enough.
I think the person originally branding me a moron was Nifty29, not pina. But pina wasn't exactly sympathetic either.
Thanks for that post Henry VIII, I find myself agreeing with alot of that.
It's interesting cos whilst I have several thousand posts on my own forum I am a relative newbie here. The so and so has X thousand posts so his iew is more important kind of thing has come up before. One thing I learned from this stupid thread is how tough it must be to work as a customer service rep. I mean people will just take anything you say, twist it however they like, and use it to attack you publicly.
I really thought the OP was doing something honorable by bringing the mistake to the casino's attention, but on the other hand I think it is sick to walk all over someone who is just doing a job and apparently trying ery hard to accomodate the customer.
I think you should donate half the money to charity, apologize to the customer service rep and donate the other half of the money to her.

1100+ compensation with no WR must be a new record for an online casino after a cock-up of this nature. While they didn't notice the overpayment, the issue would have come to light once players who withdrew on the 19th started asking where the money was.
Jackpot Factory overdeposited some 2000 into my account. Because it was in my account, I could not even play with a true balance, and they took a similar length of time to fix the matter. I received "only" 100 credits as compensation despite the fact that on three occasions they assured me the money was really mine and I must have forgotten making the deposit!!
If I had kept it and lost it, they would most likely never found out, but if I had withdrawn it their audit would most likely have noticed it (but too late).
