No idea. I have a feeling it's a bot that Bryan setup. If you try to iew their member profile, it comes up as "page not found". They're also not listed under the member listing.

This is no clever tactic, but totally against the rules or spirit of such tournaments, and I intend to pursue this fully - you cannot regularily have tournaments which show the winner & that the status of it is closed, and then give the prize to someone else. I wasn't aware that the purpose of these tournaments was for Cryptologic to award prizes to the most devious exploiters of loopholes in their software.
I am also not 100% convinced about this theory being applicable here- two in a row seems an awful co-incidence, for such a tactic to be employed - after all it doesn't take an expert player to go from £1k to £33k in a roulette tourney - just luck.

I had this issue ages ago, it's a trick by the expert players (not necessarily deliberate). The scores only update when a competitor logs off from the tournament. If a player gets ahead, they can just stay logged on till the tournament ends, and their latest score will not reflect until the tournament ends. This is probably what happened to you. Next time, use this to your advantage if you make first place with right near the end.
I tend to sign up and play in the last hours of these events, and I did get caught out like this myself once.

Hi,
This may well turn out to be a long thread - but as I am currently trying to resolve it with the casino concerned, and presumably Cryptologic, I just have the one question for now, would most appreciate if one of the experts here could advise on...
Does Cryptologic have the ability to advise on what time a final bet was placed in a tournament, and to show who was winning the tournament at any stage?
Basically I won a tournament last night, staying up until 5am GMT to ensure, and was declared 1st when it closed, & checked 10 mins later to make sure again- but when I woke up a few hours later I found to my horror had only been awarded 2nd place, & 20% of the winner's prize money. Like a fool, I trusted it & took no screenshots (hence my questions above)
cheers.
p.s. great fan of this website btw - sorry been lurking for so long, kept trying to post, but something something about administrative permissions etc. kept blocking me.
