I have had 2 hi def tellys over the last 3 years. My latest model is a 55 inch Sony Brava `DLP` television and it rocks. If your wanting an opinion from someone who has researched into the arying types of technology available, trust me when i say in my opinion DLP projection is the only way to go to (providing you dont mind the extra space it takes up).
I have many reasons for this opinion but Lcd is prone to dead pixels which becomes worse and worse over time and are fragile. Plasma again is fragile and only has a half life of about 2-3 years before the colour fades and dimness starts to set in. Only way to fix this is to send it off to have the plasma re energised. Oh and Dlp is far far cheaper than either lcd or plasma and in my opinion offers a comparable if not superior quality set.
I paid 900 Pounds for my 55 inch 1080 P hi def set, show me a plasma or lcd for the same price?

As far as seeing it in person, all you would have to do is find a pretty common model, and find out which stores in the area carry it, and go look at it there

42" screen is a nice size. Make sure you do your homework, from what Ive been hearing, some Plasma's are having problems and it may be wise to go with LCD flat. I did a lot of homework on this a couple of months ago and asked several new t owners as well as read reviews on sites.
I just want to make sure your happy with your purchase, especially since im close to your home and may want to watch my favorite shows at your place(hehe)

Okay, I have just have had enough. I have supoorted bodog for many months for their fast payouts, easy deposit methods and withdrawels, but since they have stopped western union, snail mail has new meaning. I have payouts for
250.00 from june 2nd. 2100.00 from june 11th, 500.00 from june 12th.I am about to pitch a bitch or just bitch.I hope that they work out their processing problems soon as I am about to lose my patience.
I saved the best for last, I have had a tracking # since thursday and it still has not been posted on fedex online. They say they are trying to get ahold of the processor. Makes me think that they closed down or took off with their money.

It wasnt just about bodog delays. I referred them to this site and was telling them about the whole mess in the USA. I just didnt think many of you were reading this thread or thought you might have been upset because someone mentioned that I was "rocking the boat" in other words.
I was just sticking to the thread's issue. Im sorry! I should of just written about everything and not care if it went off topic. Yeah, I asked them to come to this site and the interview is not over. They are getting back to me because this stuff is new to them and they wanted to research some online casinos and understand what's going on.
And you would be surprised who watches these things. NBC10 is online too and even the local stories get pretty far. Something local happened here a couple of weeks ago and my dad called me from SW Florida and told me it was on the news there. I absolutely agree SlotsJunkie. What I do wish that Babs had included in her interview with this person was a reference to Barney Frank's bill. That if people want to see this stupid law overturned, modified, whatever.....they should be writing to their representatives to try and gain more support for the bill with the best chance of doing that.
THAT is will what make payouts easier. Not a story simply about payouts being delayed. Offer a true solution to the problem, don't just report about the problem itself.

my contact called me back already and did a phone interview. We shall see if anything happens. The person totally agrees that we are being screwed because of the other 13 states being banned. It is legal in PA and I should have no problems getting money and it should be as speedy as any other country that is legalized
I also mentioned that bodog isnt the only casino doing this to US players and that there were no problems with payment before all of this crap started. (not in those exact words lol)

better still, they should let you play on your honour, and just bill you if you lose.
or at the ery least send a "verification" payment of some nominal amount to your method of choice before you play to see what kind of time they can get money to you before you even deposit. then they could of course require you to sign and scan it back to them to prove you can get it and it is you getting it.

Sounds to me like you are getting the royal run around for sure...this constantly erks me in regards to withdrawal issues. The casinos are fast to take the money but are using the US gambling changes to slow down the payments. With the banking technology we have now the excuses they give US players is laughable.

Yes I am a USA player BUT....Im in PA it is NOT illegal for me to gamble online. The thing that bothers me is that only 13 states are forbidden to gamble online out of 50 states.
Oh, and I have been paid in a timely fashion in the past with Bodog, they have been using the closing of Neteller and Click2pay for their problems and I did understand that but 75 days?? Not only that, there are plenty of people in here that have been paid way faster than I by check or courior
Im not ashamed of entertaining myself this way and I am not doing anything illegal. Why don't they worry about the severe gun crimes or healthcare reform in this country rather than waste money on people who want to play games for money online

I cashed out on 4/27/07 for the amount of 520. Just got my check last week. I put it in the bank. And it seems to be clearing on Monday. "According to my bank" We shall see... I had to send like fifty million e-mails to get this check. I also received "the wrong check" at first a few days before the right check came. I was not happy at all. And I Pray that this check clears on Monday....
Are you a US player by any chance? Or is this just happening to everyone?

Can I ask the amount of the checks?
You don't have to say the exact amount, but were they large? (over $1,000)
I am just wondering if it is the large checks they are having trouble with...I received my $500 check in exactly 21 days, but it was a recent cashout, made at the beginning of June.
It seems people who cashed out a few months ago are getting screwed, I wonder why? I hope I didn't jinx myself again, I just made a cashout tonight, and I am not sure if the first check cleared yet.
I hope you get this sorted out, I agree with you when you wrote this....

Okay
I am done!!! I am frustrated!!!! I am taking action if I do not receive my payouts by Wednesday 7/11. This is not an idle threat and I wanted to let you know what my intentions are incase anyone is having the same problem and need help.
First off, Incase some of you didnt read my complaint before and want to know what is making me so upset.........I requested two payouts back on 4/30 and 5/4. I also requested a payout in June ( i did get that check). I also requested another payout in June and they gave me some bullcrap fed ex tracking number that they never gave to fedex, they just scanned it to look good. I got that email on 6/29 for 7/5 delivery and they dont even have the envelope yet!! In closing on this paragraph, I am owed payouts from 4/30, 5/4 and another one from about 3 weeks ago
