I have played from different computers, and the one I played regularly on doesn't work anymore. As a result I cannot retrieve all of them, and AP is not responding to requests for the history. Pretty typical of them if you ask me...

I'm trying to get my hand history however AP is giving me problems with this. Mr. Jacobson thank you for putting in the time and effort to assist the online gambling community.

Greetings,
I received a log file from an anonymous member of this site consisting of 1659 hands played from Absolute Poker's blackjack game. The player indicated that he was "in the black" for these 1659 hands, but wanted to provide them anyway for my analysis.
This is not many hands, certainly not enought to conduct a full suite of tests. However, six separate tests were performed on this data. For every test performed, this game was fair, and the results obtained were within statistical norms for the number of hands examined.
I also wrote to AP and requested that AP contact me directly to conduct a full blackjack audit (for free), but have not heard back from them about this matter.

I don't have my hands anymore, I played way back, and loads and loads of players only seemed to have lost there. I think I lost alot there, which doesnt show anything, but when loads of players say the same, it does sound strange.

I would be glad to look at a sample of hands and give you my opinion -- I would need a fairly large sample (not millions of hands; but a few thousand would be helpful).
I'd like to see that.
However, I don't have any hand histories and I'm willing to bet that AP wouldn't give me one, even if I asked nice.
Anyone got any AP blackjack hand histories they would like to share?

No, I understood your point. I just pointed out that there was a difference. And you'll note that I didn't disagree with your conclusion.

And you guys aren't the only ones who have questioned the fairness of their blackjack. Bernynhel has also stated that their blackjack is highly suspicious.
Generally speaking, I don't think it's good to play games at places that aren't meant for them, i.e., blackjack at a poker room, ideo poker at a bingo site, etc.
Blackjack, with its notoriously low house edge, is always an easy target for cheaters... so it wouldn't surprise me if Absolute Poker has a hidden higher house edge than most other blackjacks.
There are two reasons why a company will offer blackjack:
1) It's a fun game enjoyed by millions of gamblers, and an honest game of blackjack will keep the player coming back
and
2) It's a fun game enjoyed by millions of gamblers, but not ery profitable so in order for the house to make any money off it, it needs to be rigged
I think casinos offer blackjack because of reason #1, and poker/bingo/other sites offer blackjack because of... | | Read Entire Entry |

I have 5 accounts at AP and they all get a free $10-$15 every 6 weeks or so. I usually just go play BJ with it. Out of the endless times I've done this only once have I ever not busted within 20 hands or so at $1/hand. There is no way I would play that game with my own money.

I don't mean to sound like I'm splitting hairs here but the AP issue wasn't "rigged" software but software that had a back door built into it. I'm not making any comment on your BJ observations, just that the poker issues aren't really the same thing.
When people say "rigged" in terms of casino games they usually be where the odds have been stacked against them, whereas the AP poker issue is an entirely different matter.
