What is really confusing, some casinos specify the bonus usage as I thought(i.e. roulette can not be used for fulfilling the wagering requirement, but can be used for playing). For example here is quote from goldenpalace:
By claiming this promotion, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, or Sicbo can be played but will not count towards fulfilling your wagering requirement.

• Bonus Abuse Will not be Tolerated: Casino reserves the right to withhold any amount in excess of the player’s original deposit from a player's withdrawal if the bonus is wagered in Baccarat, Roulette or Craps.
Sorry mate.... but you have got no chance, especially with these guys.
You have really gotta read all the T&Cs, doubly so when dealing with shady operations.

I have a question regarding the bonus rules. If I get a bonus on my deposit and the T&C says that no roulette is allowed to complete the wagering requirement does it mean that I can not play roulette until the WR is completed?
What happened is I started to play at prismcasino, I deposited 50 dollars and I took the bonus for table games (I thought roulette considered as table game, but as it turned out it is a specialty game in RTG software). So I had 207 dollars altogether at the begining and played roulette all the time. I went up to 1100 dollars and I asked the online support how much more wagering do I need to do. The answer was that the WR can not be fulfilled playing roulette and as all my winnings come from roulette they will remove all winnings and leave only the original amount in my account.
