I bet players were fed numerous plausible excuses in the months leading up to this, such as the "US Law", so that other players would still deposit and perhaps enable the operator to trade their way out of insolvency at no real risk to themselves, but huge risk to recent depositors.
That's why we trust der Meister to sort this stuff out

They have folded, and it's now official. This article comes near the top on Google for "pointbet".

Pointbet shuts down stiffing all owed players
It's a sad morning for thousands of customers of Pointbet (www.pointbet.com, not rated) who woke up learning that the bookmaker's site is gone, together with their hopes to recover owed funds.
The troubled Asia facing bookmaker Pointbet closed down without warning. However Pointbet.com had been in a slow pay/no pay mode for months.

PAYOUT TABLE
Payout rates (%) for each month - 2nd quarter 2003
Apr 03
May 03
Payout table from 2003???
And below it, they compare their payout % to those of USA B&M Casinos (from 4 years previous)??
If I was bored and had nothing else to do, I would look up those % they posted for offline casinos. I could almost guarantee they're fictitious....even if they did pull them from 1999!
Could someone PLEASE give me some of what they're smoking??

In another nine months no-one will even remember this dump and it will be long gone with customer treatment like this!
Thanks for the timely warning which will possibly save other players from a similarly surreal experience at this Chartwell-powered operation.
There's more on these operators (who are security certified by a Jakarta outfit I've not previously heard of called X-Ramp SSL) here: http://www.pointbet.com/casino/help/...sp?id=2&lng=en

Another interesting thing is that they keep calling me "Mr. Jozsef". However, this is my first name and not my family name.
Of course I won't give up, I'll continue to send them e-mails until they pay.
My deposit was Ł300, I won Ł75, so my withdrawal is Ł375. In fact, this should be Ł475 if we consider that they didn't give me the Ł100 bonus even if they promised it twice.
Remember this in 9 months, a good candidate for one of the Casinomeister awards. Bad enough that they can't even find your previous E-mails, or their own earlier replies, but they couldn't even find their own damn CASINO

Welcome to the forum. What a GRAND first post! I m still laughing.
Hope it was not too much money.
For better casino entertainment - money related - please check the accredited casinos list here. The support sometimes is a bit more serious and to be taken seriously. But you get your money, and that is not so unimportant.
I didnt know pointbet til now - obviously it is at the ery end of a long and rocky road.
