Goldengate links (ime) go to a download for goldvipclub rtg casino. I created a new gmail address for gvipclub and within a week or two got my first gmail spam, from a chinese yahoo address for goldengate/goldvipcasino. BUSTED. These fools not only sell their addresses they sell them to 'affiliates' who spam their maker. bwahahahaha

Only 4 a week, consider yourself lucky. I get that many in a day, and those are the obvious ones. They are getting more flashy too. It started out as text and links, but now it's full page isual ads.

Any casino that offers $2400 for free has to be considered to be rogue, which in this case is correct. Most spam comes from rogue RTG and Playtech casinos, often using made up names. Sadly, there is now a significant, and growing, number of previously respected casinos being spammed in this manner, with ...

Well, RTG sold it's licencing arm to Hastings, and then iteslf buggered off to Costa Rica, thus making any legal action against RTG itself ery difficult. Had it remained in Atlanta, it would probably already be before the courts, and it probably knew this when it made the changes. RTG also wanted to continue to fully support US players, by allowing operators free choice to accept them, and their corporate moves were intended to prevent them being held liable for supplying online gambling to US players.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am getting sick and *@#&$ tired of receiving a dozen plus spam mails a day from rogue RTG outfits. 99% of this being for fake casino landing pages that mask the identity of the true casino they are spamming, and the only links that are on that page lead to the download program for that casino. In which, 99% of the time lately is Gold VIP Club.

I know these are (or not?) affiliates of these RTG casinos, but isn't RTG themselves liable for their licensees? IE: Wouldn't they be ultimately liable, under the CAN-SPAM laws, for this spam?

I'm definitely no lawyer, so I can't make heads or tails of the CAN-SPAM laws, other than the basics. I know for a fact that some states have successfully sued spammers and WON...and I can also guarantee that people in those states are definitely getting spammed.

What I'm getting at here is, with enough evidence reported to the gov't, would RTG be held accountable for all of this spam, or the casi...
