Forum: Bonus Whores | | its interesting to see that the only "convenient" options left are those, who if widely accepted, would make about 10x what NETELLER did due to there massive fees. NETELLER at least had that part correct, in that they offered a free option to their consumers, and charged the merchents all the fees. | | Static Link |

If ePassporte has plans to pull out, the poker sites don't seem to know about it. Planet, Cake and True Poker have all added ePassporte in the last week or are going to add it in the next week. In addition, the sites that already have them as an option seem to be recommending them as a cashout option.
It wouldn't be the first time there's a disconnect between an ewallet and a poker room. For example, FCP was still recommending ewalletxpress almost a week after ewalletxpress stopped taking cashouts from online gaming sites -- worse yet the C/S people at FCP had no idea of the ewalletxpress pull-out, even 6 days after the pullout.
Anyway, my exposure to epassporte and click2pay is minimal, though with this possible development I should dra... | | Read Entire Entry |

Ive heard about ewalletxpress, but in an email from Bodog yesterday they were still mentioning them. | | Static Link |

| Posted by: Gonzo787 at February 3, 2007, 3:26 pm | | Topic: Epassporte - Next? Forum: Bonus Whores | Thanks for looking into this for us, Journeyman. Like I told you last night, this is very strange because your initial email is from a random Titan Poker customer service rep, yet they are being pretty specific about a pull out date. Then again, Stars doesn't know about it and you would have thought we would have heard something SOMEWHERE before your email to Titan Poker (a place that doesn't even accept Americans anymore BTW).
That being said, given the recent developments, I'm not sure how they can stay in the market long term. | | Static Link |

Hello xxxx,
If ePassporte have told other sites they are pulling out then we certainly
have not been informed, which (given the fact that we are the largest
online poker site) is fairly unlikely.
A google-search doesn't bring up any hits on this either. I would strongly
suspect that this is incorrect information you have been provided.
I have however made our management aware of the 2p2 thread in question.
Thank you for taking the time to email us with the information.
Regards,
Jacob

I'm with Pokeraddict; no surprise here. I almost set up an account until I saw the ties to Visa. That was the writing on the wall in my opinion. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: IceboxCharlie at February 3, 2007, 10:12 am | | Topic: Epassporte - Next? Forum: Bonus Whores | I just got an email from Doyles touting epassporte as the best option to deposit/withdraw.
I'm not rushing to open an epassporte account.
1. Epassporte does'nt show their base/location anywhere on their web site.
I have read that it's in Antilles but have not been able to confirm that.
2. A trace of epassporte.com takes me to Calif. Also I've read that their support is there. They do have an office there for marketing.
3. The BBB gives them an F rating, plus there are quite a few horror stories on the web about them.
4. Chris Mallick the owner, is the Calvin Arye of e-wallets.
5. Epassporte is branded by Visa.
6. Right now I can't think of a better target by the DOJ than epassporte.

15, 2007, ePassporte will be terminating their service to online gambling
sites. For more information, please contact ePassporte.
I can't confirm this but its not a good sign.
Trying to confirm elsewhere. Will post follow up when I get word from elsewhere. | | Static Link |
