Just for curiousity sake, is there some line in the T&C's that specifies this? It seems like you are making a very definitive statement there...
Actually, I probably misspoke a little. You have to play 25% in raked hands if someone transfers money to you and then you want to cash it out. This is documented on Party's website. It makes sense to do at least this in cover play if you wanted to just pass the money through Party prior to cashing out.
Hmmm, interesting. I had never done an inter-account transfer (probably because I'm a tightwad) and sure enough there it is in the T&C's for transfers...

Forum: Bonus Whores | Personally I tend to time my non-NT withdrawals from Party with their reloads so I don't always do cover play, strictly speaking. Don't know if it makes a difference but I think having gone through the security verification by the financial people (when I finally started using my dormant Empire account) may also help reduce red flags. It often just doesn't look good to deposit and withdraw from a poker room, especially via different methods, without some play in between.
The exact amount of hands depends on my mood, limits, regular playing (in)frequency, withdrawal sum and/or player feedback from others on their experiences - I've never heard of a specific ratio but 20-25% seems reasonable enough. I also try to leave the funds untouched for a little while; I'm not sure it looks 'normal' to start multitabling right after depositing, finish within an hour and instantly withdraw (at worst I'd only take out a partial sum, or wait an hour or two).
Of course I don't really know how much attent... | | Read Entire Entry |

That is what I have done, but I don't know about the cover play (for now I am waiting for the reload and will withdraw everything after that)... how much cover play would you need?
How many other sites allow this? When I was casinowhoring in the ancient past (2001), everybody allowed cheques, do they still? In that case I could just overdeposit for my next bonus and withdraw everything by cheque?
Or I might just get a Neteller card, but what guarantee do I have that they keep working (apparently they still do for people in my situation, with heavy fees, of course) ?

Now is definitely the time for even non-US whores to investigate and start using alternative funding options, if they haven't already. The NordicBet reload, for instance, gave me the excuse to finally dust off my previously unused MoneyBookers account, which I was able deposit into from the Poker.com cashier.

Neteller no longer has a clearing house willing/able to issue US cheques. They say they are trying to find one but that may never happen. Instead, I set up an electronic transfer directly to my Canadian bank account in Canadian funds. I phoned and asked them to wave the fee. They did. The money took 3 days to arrive in my account during which I was a little worried. I suffered the exchange rate, whatever it was.
Worried no more.
That is my take on it for what it's worth. | | Static Link |

At this time, USD bank wires are being delayed in the United States. Funds are either being returned to your originating bank or being pushed through to our account at Barclays UK, which is taking several weeks.
We need to re-submit your bank transfer withdrawals from NETELLER in EUR or GBP. Please reply to this e-mail to make these arrangements.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
