I'm still debating whether or not get the Visa card. $35 + fees seems kinda steep but instant access to the funds would be very nice.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with them, especially given the fact that they are only major option. The checking account transfers seem to be taking between 7-10 buisness days both ways.
I actually debated getting the $35 card too, but decided it was worth it in the event they get Netellered and the only option is withdrawing from your card (as the case was for Neteller users a week or so after ETFs were frozen) for a few days. Now that I have it, I'm actually using the card a bit just for regular withdrawals. The only thing that suc... | | Read Entire Entry |

I guess I'll be getting the ATM card for sure, screw waiting 12 days!
Just gotta get my rakeback for last month posted so I will have money in my ePass account to pay the $35 fee! | | Static Link |

Surprisingly, they aren't a publically traded company (at least yet). I'm also a bit nervous about ePassporte's ties to VISA, but then again, I don't know much about the organization besides the fact their logo is printed on all my credit cards.
Interesting... I guess I'm a little confused. So, it sounds like ePassporte is it's own company, but uses VISA to handle the money transfers? If that's the case, could they end up in a situation where VISA bails on them and they have to find a new processor?
I'm hesitant to respond since I don't know a lot about VISA, but I think ePassporte has a similiar relationship to VISA as any other company that issues VISA cards (for example, your bank). I'd assume that VISA has the power to not be associated with ePassporte because of gambling, but I could be way off base. | | Static Link |

I take this to mean that they are interpreting that online poker is not illegal under current American laws. This must explain why they are not involved in online sportsbook transactions, AFAIK.
Worth a read if you have an ePassporte account or are interested in one.

We have also seen a number of rumors spreading about the stability of our company, the safety of our Account Holders money and our involvement in illegal activity.
First and foremost, the team at ePassporte would like to apolo... | | Read Entire Entry |
