ok, i apologize for coming off that way. i really meant it just literally what i said. i thought "the only people who WOULDNT want to do WU would be those who didnt want to involve their SS#". those would be people who are routinely withdrawing large amounts like $5k+. the fact is that there are now very few tables in play these days on bodog that would lend themselves to profits like those, and the chances that all the players on these tables ALSO happen to post on BW is negligable. this was my rational for the statement. sorry to offend; didnt mean to.

i believe bodog gives selected banking options for each player. i have two options only - regular check, moneybookers and click2pay. a friend of mine has check and MB only. i'd really like to have bank wire option, but they say that would be possible for regular cashouts of 30k+ only. | | Static Link |

after this i think i will stick with western union. but there are a couple reasons i requested the check. first, western union supposedly doesnt allow gambling transactions. if they got wind of what bodog was doing, there is a chance they could seize the money. For a period of time in earlier in January, Bodog was not allowing US withdraws by Western Union. For those of us who have been waiting more than a month now, I'd venture to guess this is the motivating reason why people had to cash out via check.
Like I said earlier, I talked to CS about cancelling the check and doing a Western Union transfer (I've been waiting a month and a week now), but they keep giving me the run around.

I am also having check problems. Never got a tracking number for my check processed on 1/25. I called yesterday and they said that it was mailed out on 2/7. However, it's been 26 businessdays since processing and I am without my check. They told me that if there's nothing they can do about it now. But if it's not here in a week, they can put a stop on it and do a Western Union transfer instead. What a hassle! | | Static Link |
