It's certainly not whoring in the same sense it was just a few short months ago; clearance rates have bottomed out and rakeback has become significantly more important. Worse yet, table dynamics aren't as good for my NL whoring game as they use to be.
So I've been forced to work on my NL game and I'm happy with the improvements I'm seeing there. I've also been working on my fixed limit game the last few weeks as I'm seeing better fish selection for fixed-limit at 3-6 and 5-10 (when there's a game going). I continue to work on my other games as well, but I'm nowhere near good enough to beat them regularly.
It's unlikely you'll find me 6-8 tabling 1-2/2-4/3-... | | Read Entire Entry |

I am looking for a home site. Right now it's Poker Stars bonus and RB free...
I won't play at FTP because of the casual attitude towards bots. AP and UB are out of the question because of the pitiful clearing rates plus the fact that AP management and I don't see eye to eye.
I am considering WPEX, but I know that you can't use a HUD there, which will hurt my strategy somewhat.
So for now I am content being a Platinum Star at Poker Stars... for now.

There are no limits on how much you can have in there.
I don't think there is any limit on the amount of $ you can receive (I've gotten $1,500+ at a time), but for depositing it's I think $500/day for non-upgraded and $1,000/day for upgraded. I know Stars has a $600/deposit max for ePass. | | Static Link |

Can my account have like 1000 in it but im limited to a 600$ deposit at a site? or is it that my epasssport account can't have more than $600 in it?
Thanks
Its the load limit into epassporte from your bank account or watever method you use. I believe my checkin account limit is 300 per 24 hours and my debit 500 ... dont ask me why. There is an option to increase your limits though | | Static Link |

are you refering to sites that you have already done the bonus at? and then again why do u do that even in that case?
I'm sure there's a simple reason that I'm not seeing but just pretend I"m retarded and don't know anything.
I typically have a number of bonuses queued -- funded and just waiting for me to get in and mix it up. I've also started playing multiple sites rather than multiple tables at a single site more regularly to make it marginally harder for other players to get a line on my play.
And (of course) there's the non-expiring bonuses such as UB; I've got thousands in bonus money to work off there. Deposit for bonus, cover play, withdraw, rinse lather repeat.
It's also the case that if your bankroll is spread across several sites, the failure of any pa... | | Read Entire Entry |

| Posted by: ajk123 at May 18, 2007, 10:56 pm | | Topic: americans moving bonus money around Forum: Bonus Whores | If you're poker bankroll is at one site, I suggest
1) loading your ePassporte account with $100, eating the $5 fee
2) deposit $95 at your site
3) do a little coverplay
4) withdraw your entire bankroll to your ePassporte account
5) deposit at other poker sites
Quick and easy.. only $5 in fees.. | | Static Link |

It costs me $602 to withdraw $600 so the ATM fee is really quite minuscule. Not having online gambling $ go trough my US checking account? Priceless | | Static Link |
| Posted by: the knob at May 15, 2007, 10:17 pm | | Topic: americans moving bonus money around Forum: Bonus Whores | I've been using ePassporte as well. Luckily had it setup before the Neteller debacle (amusingly, set it up to try to whore the Party/Empire EPASS bonus before they went away but was about four days too late). I was able get another poster to trade me some money to where I had enough money in my lightly-funded ePass account to make deposits to various poker rooms to make that my new funding method and shuffle money around as needed. You might like into that option if you have money sitting in various poker rooms, just deposit a few bucks to cover the minimum deposits to a couple poker rooms and get it all back into one place.
As for withdrawing, I ponied up for their physical card. The $35 annual fee isn't the greatest, but being able to pull money out of the ATM is a good thing (TM). | | Static Link |

Now if Prima, and Bodog would just go to epassporte.
ePassporte is almost as good as Neteller was, IMO. Initial load is like $5 and it's $2 to withdraw to your bank. Withdrawals to and from poker sites are not charged a fee. The $500 max deposits are kind of annoying though.
ePassporte is accepted at most poker sites that accept Americans. Bodog can't do business with them as they are a sportsbook. I'm not sure why Prima sites don't have ePassporte.
I'm VERY pleased that there is still an option available that is as good as ePassporte, 4 months after the Neteller clusterfuck.

I think it's $5 for the first $300 from the bank to ePass, then $2 for subsequent $300. (I'm limited to $300 for some reason). I haven't had any charges going from epass to a site, but I'm limited there to $500.
It's not great but not terrible.

epassporte
however the fees seem to just barely make this worthwhile (need $600 to get $150 bonus, fees will be about $30-$50 to deposit and withdraw to my account
Creditcard/check
usually the majority of my bankroll is online, and I have to move it from one site to another. Credit card adds another whole set of steps, making it very inconvient. Deposit w/ CC, clear bonus, request a check from pokersite (takes a week), deposit check into checking account (another week), pay off credit card, usually by this time there will be some large % of intrest paid, cutting into my profits. To sum up, this method sucks.
Debit card
seems to be the best option. However currently the bank I use does not allow this. I am obviously willing to move to new a new bank, but I do not want to sign up at every bank and "test" their debit ... | | Read Entire Entry |
