First, what good are the party points going to be after March Maddness? If they run this promotion twice, your 10,000 points will likely have a higher expected value then since the multi-year accumulation of points could be largely spent on the earlier promotion.
Second, how many 100 party point tickets are going to be sold? BW review of Party Poker suggests these points are worth no more than $0.005 so a 100 point ticket costs ~$0.50. Party is giving tickets for every 100 party points. As I understand it, you can redeem your points (you dont need to earn them in the time of the promotion, except fo 40 points which qualifies you for the promo). 500 tickets will be drawn. 1 ticket is 200$, if they draw 2 of your tickets 500$, if 3 1100$. Would it be wise to throw 10k or so partypoints into these tickets? | | Static Link |
