I'm risk averse enough not to even play $.50/1 if my total bankroll was only 50 BB.
I'd open an account with rakeback at UB, borrow enough for the full deposit bonus, cash out everything but the $50, and single table microlimits until I had cleared $100 in bonus and $100+ gameplay profit. Then I'd move to $.50/1 and finish it off.
If you can't beat the micros at a faster rate than you clear that ultra-slow UB bonus, you shouldn't be moving up.

definatley have to check out william hill. they give u the $80 free in the casino so hit that bad boy up at blackjack and u should have someof it left if u dont bust, then u can play the $.50-$1 nl tables, they pay u 5 pounds per table hour up to 25 pounds, two table that with $50 each and u should clear it no problem in 2.5 hours, after that bw101

I started my roll out with 50$ on pacific poker several months ago (and got the refer a friend bonus and deposit bonus, so austomatically had 95$ to work with) I started out playing 25 nl, then when i hit about 200, moved to 50 nl, and made it rather fast on those sites, since pacific is extremely loose and really bad players. I then eventually made a roll starting out of that and now play 100$ 8 tables, and 400$ 6 max. It took me about 2 weeks to hit 1000$ on pacific intiailly. However, I more recently did this again on pacific, I randomly had 36$ in my account, and rather than deposit more money since I play other sites now, I decided to see if I could turn it into 1K again. Do the Boss poker sites (as mentioned above). Play every hands preflop and then super tight. I haven't done these myself, but I hear they are a great place to start.
Then follow BW 101 ... be sure to avoid the cryptos as you'll have to wait a few weeks to cash out.
Also, you can fade my sports bets. That's a pretty safe way to grow you're roll.

Started with $50 myself a few months ago and turned it into $1k in less than 2 months, heres what ya do: Start with the primas at the .50/$1 tables and hit up all the 5x sign up bonii. Bet365 1st gets you $100 in bonus for a $50 deposit and 500 hands (then golden rivera and crazy poker)
you should have at least $200 by then, hopfully more, Then follow 101 youll have good enough to work with

You will either lose $50 or not - maybe a grand. When I started 8 years ago I started with $50. Busted out twice and then took off for 3000 in 3 months!
I played short handed then. It's certainly not unheard of.
You just have to double about 4 and a half times.
Play BJ and just keep the $$ on the table win 5 in a row and you have $1600. You have a 3% chance of doing it. Considering most poker player skills that is much better then playing poker, for 50 hours! | | Static Link |
