Forum: Bonus Whores | I'm fairly new to poker whoring, did all the cryptos, party and paradise and decided to sign up at absolute since my br is sweet thanks to cas whoring, and opted for boogster points rather than rakeback.
I been playing for 11 hours, $2/4 6 max 2-4 tabling whatever was availble due to down under time, including a fair amount of headsup. I found the games to be agressive and fairly tight for short handed, but I like it like this as I'm used to live 20/40 where the play is similar but they do it a bit more skillfully. I found that by allowing players to bet into me with their over aggression I could play few hands and capitalize by hitting and trapping and also playing draws and weak pairs strong making them fold to a tight player. Interesting to note that mostly I was the only $2/4 limit player multi tabling. Also interesting to note that the sites I've played at I found 2/4 MUCH easier than 1/2, with more people willing to gamble and also more weak tighties. 1/2 must just be full of whores or somet... | | Read Entire Entry |

if ya 3 table at stars with average pots of $15 then you're prob going to spend $15 + in rake an hour.
stars gets every sucker that signs up through their ads. once a player wises up he'll play for bonus or at least get a rakeback deal.

ive since realised the error of my ways but still no RB

If you play NL200 or higher, and if you got a 28% rakeback deal, RB + bonus = from 90 to 100% rakeback.
Thats what we are looking for, no?

just like most of the medium sized sites it all comes down to timing. it seems a lot of the players on there are now playing tournies, we know why now There are some decent tourney players on there cause I see them at my final tables all the time anyhoo, I don't know about the lower limits but if you're a decent 6 max player there seems to be games going all the time

As soon as you sit at one table you are taken off the list for every other table you were on and crap like that. They don't seem to ever have that many players on either. I have trouble finding lower limit games at all sometimes.

I used to like playing there but I see the same guys sitting at the same tables day after day. It's like playing a ring game with the whores, they probably are who knows.

I've been playing a little bit lately on Absolute and it does seem to have loosened up quite a bit. I remember there was a time that it was so super tight that I couldn't stand to even play there. But just today I saw people going all in preflop Reraising my KK with A10 and similar play. Putting like 20-40 dollars on the line for hands I won't even pay a nickel for.
OK - I reckon I'll hit a reload early next month to check it out then. Have a few things to clear first. Thanks for update on play.
