I don't play a ton of tables, though, and I've been refining this process on various games throughout my life. I doubt I could teach it to anybody. | | Static Link |

I also here a voice in my head saying its only 1 pair and my other vice is looking down at 2 cards of suited sickness and desperately wanted to press that button to call that raise to chase that flush. Then i snap out of it (most of the time lol).
I like your idea dr strange to take a walk each morning to mull things over, i think i will start doing that.

Not only do you not improve, but you have so little time to think that you miss a lot about what is going on. It may be true that you make more money 6-tabling vs playing one or two tables but the only realy hope to upgrade your game / fix leaks is to play fewer tables and think about what you are doing.

I know my optimum (also read maximum) is 3 tables....not for poker results (ie. winnings + earnings rate = bonus) The vasy majority of games I play is 0.5/1 FLHE
I also use the morning times to review my games...evenings is for something to review the next morning...
Pokertraker, poker office, whatever, they are all just tools..
How you use them like anything is the most important thing..

I like to use my early morning walk to get the paper as time for reflection. (It is a 3-mile round trip to get my 'home' delivery newspaper, it takes an hour or so. I live in the middle of nowhere at the end of a 1 & 1/2 mile dirt road.)
I start by pulling up my PT stats for the last day. Before I take my walk, I look at my overall results and then look over the big winners / losers. If I remember a specific hand, I will go look at it. If things look 'strange', I will see if it was a lucky/unlucky run of cards or strange table conditions or me breaking form.
For me, there is no substitute for looking at specific hands. one by one. Often I think I know what happened last night, but find out I am wrong upon review.
Once I get a few things in mind, I start my hike. Over that hour I mull over what was good and what was bad. If I need to look up information, I have to wait till I get ho... | | Read Entire Entry |

How often do you review your game?
How long do people spend on this task?
What tools do people use to review (Poker Tracker or anything else)?
If using poker tracker what are the best ways to use their software to find leaks in your game.
Im desperate to improve my game but i know i don't spend enough time reviewing my game to plug the leaks and want to implement a system which i will adhere too.
Thanks in advance
