Also a good point about perspective. I don't necessarily look at matters from the whores view. Do I look to play at the sites that give me the most attractive bonus or rakeback or whatever? Sure, but my real goal is not to get my bonus; its to beat the game.
Not only that, if you WERE getting rake back, I suppose thats an even bigger reason to play at a fishy GBP game of the same written demonination. | | Static Link |

I like to generally play in pounds becuase the games are a lot softer( even though i amfrom us) so yes it is a valid question....
it really does matter!! be aware of this:
on $ tables max rake is 3USD.
but on pounds tables max rake is 3 pounds. and that is OVER 5 USD!!!
hard to beat that rake.
another example: poker sites are taking me around 10.000$ in rake per month. if i would be playing with pounds that would be 17.400/m.
that would be 88.800$ lost in rake per year.
think twice before sitting on other than $ table would be my advise.
Yes, but if your win at 2bb/100 hands those BBs are rated in GBP, not $ so it all balances out. I look at it this way when I play at... | | Read Entire Entry |

I guess you are talking about poker winning/losing stats, but for just general money stuff, MS Money is great for keeping accounts in different currencies. Just put in the conversion rates and it shows your total assets in $s. When you cash-out from say a site you have set up in Euros, you can just enter the actual $ amount that hits NT.

The only sites I've seen with £ games are on Crypto. You don't pay any conversion fees except for ukbetting and totalbet. Most people try to leave enough there to play when they have the bankroll. The £1/2 games there used to be good before the rake definition change. Now I hardly ever see more than 1 or 2 £1/2 tables going. I think it got even worse when totalbet and ukbetting didn't offer any hand bonuses last month. I don't think I've ever seen more than 1 £2/4 table going but I haven't played this month during any of the hand bonus days. | | Static Link |

if that is true, it might be good idea for him to do a research about banking options at B2B sites. neteller is basicly the only acceptable option, not to mention there are players that cannot open neteller account. some sites just don't give you a chance to spend your money there. yup, some sites will stay small i guess. | | Static Link |
