I'm using Poker Office as well, but I did use Poker Tracker a while ago (had a 70k database or something like that). I think Poker Tracker was pretty good but when my database crashed I decided to try out Poker Office instead. I think Poker Office is easier to use, it has a better looking interface, better filtering tool and it has everything built into it (such as the live tracker/HUD). I'd like Cryptologic support, but I guess you can't have it all. | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | and pokeroffice doesnt support omaha yet. last time i crashed their board for new features, the mods left the add omaha suggestion someone posted dormant. they have expanded, and its nicer than PT, but right now PT has more rooms, and is a more complete setup. More people write things for it, kinda open source while PO seems to me more proprietarily run. Sooner or later it will be better(and it does take PT databases), but for now take a couple days and learn PT. Use the help files, the boards, and as a last resort email them, they do answer tech support emails, but dont be a whiny noob and email everytime(use search there as well).

Most of us use PokerTracker, but not all. You will also need a heads-up display, I use PAHUD. This type of software is essential for multi-tabling.
It will take you months, perhaps years, to make good use of the data from PokerTracker. The software isn't that hard to learn, but applying the new data you have to your poker game is a long process. I'm still leaning even though I have almost 100,000 pokertracker hands under my belt the last year or so. I think I am about at 65% of the potential (and that is likely me being stuodily over optimistic.)
How long does it take to learn patience? -=- DrStrange | | Static Link |
