Forum: Bonus Whores | I don't know how well Party tracks other programs but I do know they have the ability to at least know how your computer is running. I fould that out when I received a message while playing that my resources were too high and that they were changing the way my hands looked on my computer. I still use a windows 98 machine so I know it was true. I fould it very discomforting to think that they had any ability to look at my computer while I was on their site. For that reason when I played there I turned everying off except PT.

But if u run it on a second pc then maybe not detectable? But like u say Dr. is this prog or similar worth having, does it give a significant advantage. I am fairly new to poker on line 1yr and lots to learn yet, but if many players are using this (winning players esp) then maybe I need it to level the field?
I have (last week) just got PT + Hud but am a bit bewilderd by all the info it gives you. I could really do with a good site that explains how to use PT too its best advantage, is there any good ones out there that anyone knows of?
By the way I have loaded 7500 hands into PT that were on 1 of my pc's and it says I have lost $812 over these hands, but according too my book keeping of profit / loss I am up $3650 for the year (did'nt even know the rules of hold'em 1 yr ago, when I first started) so most of my profit must be fro... | | Read Entire Entry |

I doubt any process you run on the same computer as the Party software is 100% sure to be undetected. I think you would be risking your account for a rather thin advantage. You will get most of the same data using PT / PAHuD and can defend against the dataminers by switching you playing handle every six months on Party.

"Q: Is Poker-XXXX allowed by the online poker rooms?
A: Poker-XXXX is allowed by the majority of the online poker rooms. However, PartyPoker (and it's skins) are deeming Poker-XXXX as an unfair advantage at their tables. Fortunately, they now have know way of knowing if you are using Poker-XXXX, so they can take no action against you."
Is this true, is this kind of software, database sharing sofware, now not detectable by party and similar networks? Or is this just BS by the site to rope people into buying something that WILL get um banned?
