I'm a member of Cardrunners which is a really great site IMO, especially if you're playing a lot of 6-max NL hold'em. They have quite a few MTT videos and pot limit Omaha videos as well, but the focus is on 6-max NL.

Pick a video made by Green Plastic, pay for it and you'll be hooked.

PokerXfactor is almost exclusively for tournaments (they always wanted to add cash games as well, but so far there is only one cash-game video from Rizen available i think).

If you want to play a lot of tournaments, i find PokerXfactor very useful.
You get a couple of new videos each week (besides about 200 old videos) from top tournament pros (bax, sheets, rizen and brsavage to name a few). They eplain in very much detail how the situation in the tournament (especially stack sizes / blinds, reads, positional and bubble considerations etc.) made them play their hand in the way they did. I especially liked the vidoes from Rizen about his Sunday-Million win at Stars, which already has 10 volumes of about 40 minutes each.

Another nice feature is that you can upload our own tourney hand historys and have a nice replayer, and you can share them with others. You can also replay many hand historys from very good players (without comments though).

Additionally they have a regul...

In any educational process, the audible and visual sensory inputs provided by multimedia training aids are valuable supplements to the more traditional printed resources and practical experience. Of those listed, I think Cardrunners offers the most for the least. Most of the videos on all of those sites are focused upon mid to high stakes however.

That said, Doc'$ advice Doc$ holiday wrote: Buy books! certainly shouldn't be circumvented, for he points you toward what is undoubtedly the single best value in poker education.

Buy books! Most of the 2+2 stuff Theory of Poker, Harringtons books, Advanced poker just to name a few. From what iv read about tutoring my feelings are that in terms of value compared to how much extra it can help you win, You need to be playing true middle limit or higher poker e.g at least 20/40 limit and 5/10NL. And that would be for personal tutoring/mentoring, not these sites i doubt they going to teach you anymore(probably less) than reading the good books, experience, and reading up here and 2+2 etc.
I havnt actually joined but stoxpoker.com looks good (lots of real online play footage with commentary) he is a very successful online player. Might be worth a look if you did want to go down the online help road.

Hello all,

I am playing mostly NLHE .50/1.00 right now 9-10 seat cash games. I'm also playing a few low end tournys $5 to $20 buy ins. Not doing so well in the tournies (the bubble is NOT my friend) but I'm doing well in cash games I think. I'm also playing a little PL 7stud and some Triple Draw on occasion just for a change.
For the last two months Ive made a little more than 2K playing NLHE, I think I can do better though.
I'm thinking about doing one of the Poker Tutor sites.

The question is WHICH one.

Cardrunners
PokerXfactor
Pokermentors
ProPokerschool
Realpokertraining

those are just a few off the top of my head I have looked at in the last few days but by no means is that all of the ones I have looked at, its just the last 5.

Ive seen 50 posts on the net saying.... XYZ site is absolutely the greatest thing thats ever happened to my game, however no one has given any real backup to WHAT exactly they thought impro...
