As far as I'm concerned, as long as Pacific's software remains deplorably shitty, the games will remain the best on the internet. Pacific's utter crappiness keeps the good players away. But as soon as they implement positive changes (especially multitabling); the jig is up. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: hackermike at January 7, 2005, 2:48 am | | Topic: Pacific Poker Debuts NL Ring Games Forum: Bonus Whores | i dont know how much everyone plays pacific but i think that if you play there than you should really care about the raking of uncalled bets. espessially if you play NL. this really is crazy. i have emailed support and told them that i will be boycotting until this policy is changed and i also told them i would tell 2+2 about their shitty rake. so if you play there it is worth sending them an email telling them you think thier rake sucks and hopefully with enough feedback they'll change it
p.s. if you have rakereturns on this site it might be a good thing to have these uncalled bets raked.
p.p.s. the NL games here are so damn nice!!!! | | Static Link |

BEWARE: Pacific rakes the uncalled bets in limit, which hurts me at 5/10 and 10/20... if they do that at NL, it's atrocious.

| Posted by: shoesnatcher at January 2, 2005, 12:19 am | | Topic: Pacific Poker Debuts NL Ring Games Forum: Bonus Whores | Just to give an update, I spent a few hours trying to play the low limit NL tables at Pacific Poker and found the players there are really crazy, they will raise 10-12x the big blind with most anything. At the $25 tables they seem to do it ALL the time, so with just the $20 bonus to play on I decided to try out the NL sit and go tables so I could level the playing field I must say these players are just plain awful, I won second place 2x in a row against them my first two attempts! So my suggestion at this site is to avoid the NL $25 tables you won't be able to call their maniacal bets without a premium hand, so either play at the $50 NL tables or higher or try the $5 and $10 NL sit and gos. I just love watching these guys run out of chips from their boneheaded betting ...ROTFL.

For those of us who like NL whoring, I just thought I might mention that Pacific Poker recently started hosting NL ring tables. They now have $10, $50, $100, and $200 NL ring tables. FYI.
