It can make some hands take an eternity, and when it happens when I'm playing on another site like Interpoker (raked hands); it can be downright infuriating, as it slows the bonus clearing rate massively. Imagine the joy when you don't have one, but THREE of those people at a table. Had it happen to me about a week ago, I ended up leaving after about 25 minutes - no amount of berating by the other players would get the "clock watchers" to stop what they were doing. I refuse to play at any talbe when the average time per hand is approaching 2-3 minutes. I see it all the time. Mostly at the beginning and end of the month when people are clearing the time bunuses. That's why I do my hands played bonuses during the middle of the month. I keep thinking the sites wo... | | Read Entire Entry |

I don't think that's quite true either. How many "winning players" are stepping down to like Crypto 1/2 to grind out boni? The rest are just whores.

Late light is generally very tight. During the day it varies. Early evening seems good for me. I've been at a table with 2 maniacs and saw 95% raked hands, and also at tables that dry up and see 25% raked. Be patient, and move on if the table doesn't suit yo.

None the less with bonus they are worth the effort, atleast for us small stakes whores. The main problem is they are extremely slow. To many people milking the clock playing off the hourly bonuses. I don't mind it nearly as much when I am playing by the hour though. | | Static Link |

After playing about 500 hands over a few nights it really feels like the players are MUCH tighter than those on the Party skins. Is this a correct impression or have I just had a bad run of luck? (this is at the $1-$2 tables).
When I say tight I mean I regularly have only 2-3 people seeing the flop. I might expect that in $5-$10 or in a NL game. But in a $1-$2 game?? | | Static Link |
