none of the reasons that a 'chip dumper' should be punished apply.
was it stupid? yes.
did i try to xfer normally, yes 3 times, did i call them? yep
only then did i sit NL HU with my friend and lose the 2.6k to him.
the punishment of then obsconding with all my money does not fit the crime.

I steal someone's credit card or bank account information. I make a large deposit to a poker site, lose $10k to a bunch of accomplices in a few hours, and then disappear before the card/account is reported stolen and frozen. The poker room has to eat the loss, because there's no way to prove that the people who won the $10k aren't normal people who happened to be playing against the thief.
Chip dumping. This is basically what they're accusing you of (potentially) trying to do.

While you are stupid for dumping to your friend even though it was a HU table, the site has to protect its integrity and promise to uphold a very secure gaming site. I saw your point earlier and I agree and disagree. While you have screwed yourself by not following the proper etiquette of the site, I feel you do not have to go from forum to forum running a sites name through the mud. If you want your 11K back fast this is not the way to play! It's funny that you think that people who run sites don't read these forums but I bet you would be very surprised to see that they catch wind of these things. Keep hounding them for the money and that is all you can do. Good luck!

The transfer is obvious and easily unwound. "Sorry, Joe's Friend, but the money that was transferred to you was stolen, so it's being removed from your account." Losing at a table launders the money. Joe's Friend won it legally, and the site would have a very hard time taking it away after the fact, without opening themselves up to all sorts of problems.

tons of ways customer service could have worked this out, i even offered to forfeit the 'dumped' money.

or you team play a guy at a ring game and then fold the hand without a showdown.
what we did was sit heads up..one on one..and the guy that sets the games up for me , joey, is the one who seized not only the money in question but the rest of my account as well.

One, since this is your very first post here, nobody knows you and there's no real reason to believe you (though I do think you're telling the truth).
Two, you were chip dumping. If the transfer button doesn't work like it's supposed to, contact CS and ask what you can do about it.
Three, there's probably some recourse if you can talk to the right person, assuming that (A) they have ID from you, (B) you have a fairly solid history there, (C) they have ID from your friend and he has a history there, and (D) they have a record that you clicked their transfer button to try to move the $2600 right before you dumped your chips. Plus (E) you also needed to sound as ignorant as possible about what could be wrong with chip dumping, though it might be too late for that.
Seems strange that they'd go from giving you direct contact with a host to shutting you off instantly.. can't Joey the Host intervene for you in some way? | | Static Link |

This past week something happened to me that has never happened before...a poker site up and literally stole 11,000$ dollars from me.
here's the situation. My playername on pokerhost is Water. I played there due to the shiny little pamphlet I got in teh mail and what seemed like a good incentive to buy in. I played mostly 40/80 HU and some 30/60 HU.
Pokerhost manager Joey would actually call me at my house and set up high stakes 40/80 for me to play.
During the course of my play I probably cashed out over 28k or so. These cash outs would require up to 7 or 8 days to process, I'd have to be on the phone with them at least twice a week.
I play on pokerstars, party, Pacific, UB, America's Card Room and a slew of others...mostly 15/30 some 30/60 and higher.
