Just wish BJ didn't have a $3 minimum bet. | | Static Link |

I don't see how this is risk free. You had 125 to withdraw, now you only have 100 thats a 25 lose anyway you look at it.
Just to clear this up for those of you who are unfamiliar with the process. For all of the Cryptos it IS risk free. In this example if you have a balance of 150 and a withdrawal limit of 125 and then lose 25 playing blackjack, your new balance will be 125 with a withdrawal limit of 125. Now if you lose another dollar they both fall in tandem to 124 and 124. Also, to the above poster, you don't have to withdrawal before playing to make it risk free. Happy whoring.

Forum: Bonus Whores | | Well, I'm trying out the Blackjack over at the Carribean Sun casino, since I don't plan on doing the poker bonus there anymore anyway. Made a withdrawal of all the money I had available there, so the only thing left is the $50 match bonus that I can't take out anyway. Now I'm playing with their money... kind of fun! | | Static Link |

I actually believe the key is to withdraw the $125 before you start to play in the casino. You'll still have $25 you can play in the casino with no risk to your own balance. That's the key, play with their money, not yours. | | Static Link |

I'll probably give it a shot one of these days but ever since trying and dropping ~$300 at pokerroom.com's blackjack tables I'm still wary of this whole casino thing | | Static Link |

the only way I could see this happening is you bet the whole 25, get a blackjack, continually bet the whole amount and continue to win over, I dont see a casino letting you cash out $1000+ of 'free money'
Well actualy the way to do these is to bet small so that your variance is small also. Because this is still +EV... I mean you can just do the simple math: wagering 1000 on a game with appr. 0.5% house advantage (which blackjack is) you are expected to lose 1000 * 0.005 = 5, so thats a 20 GBP EV. And whats even better, is is RISK FREE, whats your problem with that? I just don't see how people could thi... | | Read Entire Entry |

Damn, you make a convincing argument. Maybe some night when the poker tables aren't treating me well, I'll look into a few of these pending bonuses. I know I have a few laying around (TotalBet, UKBetting, Caribbean Sun that I know off the top of my head). Guess it can't hurt to give them a try! | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | Suppose I have a Total Balance of 150 pounds and a Withdrawable Balance of 125 pounds after clearing this month's poker bonus. This means I have a 25 pound match bonus available in the casino. So, I install the casino and get ready to play blackjack. I read the T&C for the casino's matching bonus and discover I have to wager at least 1000 pounds to clear the 25 pound bonus.
So, I start playing blackjack at 1 pound a hand to minimize my risk of losing the 25 pounds before clearing the bonus. My balance at the table is my full 150 pounds. As luck has it, I'm down 25 pounds after about an hour. Being a good whore, I don't want to risk any of my own money so I stop playing.
If I go back to the cashier, what will my Total Balance and Withdrawable Balance be? Common sense (and knowing how most of these casinos think) tells me that my Total Balance will be 125 pounds and my Withdrawable Balance will be 100 pounds. I can not withdraw the match bonus because I never met the 1000 pounds wageri... | | Read Entire Entry |

| Posted by: packbacker83 at March 2, 2005, 5:37 pm | | Topic: Cashing out from total bet? Forum: Bonus Whores | Dont ignore it ... It IS a casino bonus. But it is 100% risk free. Take the time to go to www.wizardofodds.com and download a basic strategy guide. Go play blackjack for $1 to $5 a hand. If you bust ... it was free money. But playing these bonuses is +EV.
Saying you ignore it is like having a check in the mailbox but walking out there and then depositing it in the bank is just not worth the effort. Real whores do not ignore free money.
One word of caution however... Do not get carried away and start betting your own money. Thats what they want you to do.
The crypto casinos are the only ones I know of where you can play casino games and keep the money you win without ever risking a cent of your own money

Forum: Bonus Whores | | You received the poker matching bonus of £5/hr already, in the form of direct payments to your Ecash account. The amount of money you withdraw should be equal to your deposit + poker winnings + hourly bonus. The extra £25 above that is a casino bonus that you have to work off in their casino, if you want to. (I usually just ignore it myself.) | | Static Link |
| Posted by: FeelingLucky at March 2, 2005, 1:55 pm | | Topic: Cashing out from total bet? Forum: Bonus Whores | Yeah, that is most likely a casino bonus. I don't know much about it (never cleared it or anything); but it definately has been posted repeatedly in various threads, so you should be able to find something I guess.

I did do a search but couldnt find the answer to my specific question
I cant withdraw the £25 bonus earnt on total bet like I can on say Will Hill
I queried it with them and received the following reply
The poker bonus of £5 per playing one hour of poker, up to £25 per month is credited to straight to your poker balance in form of chips. I can confirm that in February you received 5 x £5, once on 10/Feb/2005 and 4x on 13/Feb/2005.
The funds of £25 in showing in your account come from the promotional monthly match deposit bonus. This bonus however is a casino bonus only and cannot be played in poker.
What are they talking about? Isnt this a poker bonus? Does this mean Ive got to play in the casino to clear it??? I assumed totalbet was a standard play 5 hours get £25 exactly the same as Will Hill???
If it does mean Ive got to play the casino I will just cross them of my list as I only have time for poker right now! LOL
