Anyways, for everyone else, go to progressive.com and you can get a quote online in 5-10 min and they will also tell you the price of our competitors for the same policy. As far as insurance questions, I can't answer many, I work in Telecom there.
Also, this disclaimer, I get no kick back for pimpin my own company, I just like working there, alot of people have said we are cheaper for them and I know its a good company that doesn't screw you over so take it for what its worth.

But the states of NJ and NEV can legally go after internet sportsbooks that offer wagers to residents of those states. | | Static Link |

I'm signed up at all the Crypto sites, and play in both their casinos and pokerrooms...never tried to make a sports bet, but I know some of the Cryptos don't take sportsbets from ANY US residents.
I have placed a few sports bets with Bodog, SuperVegas/SportingBet, and Sportsbook.com with zero problems.

Parts of the Crypto network might be no good as well, but it only appears to prevent sports wagers. Can any NJ Bonus Whores verify/rebuke that?

June 11, 2002: Two Internet sites have agreed to stop accepting bets on pro and college sports from New Jersey as part of an out-of-court settlement with the state. Lawsuits were filed in October against intercasino.com and intertops.com in an attempt to stop the sites from taking wagers from New Jerseyans. The state will not bring any action against the sites for bets taken prior to the agreement. It also calls for all players trying to register with New Jersey addresses to be rejected. The sites agreed not to mail any winnings to addresses in the state.
Lawsuits against five other sites taking sports bets from New Jersey that were also filed in October are still pending.

Update: seems like you can't just go in and change your personal info anymore on Intertops. You have to mail them a utility bill or somesuch nonsense. When I did it you could just change it online. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: TheFranchise at February 10, 2005, 12:34 pm | | Topic: Intertops not allowed in NJ? Forum: Bonus Whores | I have State Farm, and they are about half what Geico quoted. Might have something to do with Geico not having an office in this state at all, as far as I know. YMMV. For car insurance, you simply just call every place possible for quotes and then decide from there.
And, yeah, I don't think you're getting around the Intertops thing unless you move. | | Static Link |

NJ typically has some of the highest in the country (highest concentration of drivers, shitty insurance fraud laws until recently).
9 years driving, no accidents, no tickets, and my premiums were almost $2.1K per year, with a $1K stinkin' deductible. Geico is only $620 per 6 months...and I was able to drop my deductible back to $500.
Felt like I cashed in a GP sticky bonus that day my policy changed.

Honestly, I wouldn't get that worked up about it. It's the only place I've come across like that. While on the other hand, there's a few good casinos groups that do not allow people from 5 or 6 US states do to some gaming laws, even though the casinos are not within 3000 miles of these states (I think the states are Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and a couple others).
Oh yeah...for car insurance...have you checked out Geico? My premium dropped ~ $400... which was like 45% less than my old coverage. Good times.

Forum: Bonus Whores | Yup, I'm in dirty Jersey too, and I wasn't able to sign up at Intertops either when I tried a few months ago. Someone else here at BW.com said they were not allowed to either, and they lived in Nevada. Maybe it has something to do with the state licensed casinos...no idea otherwise.
