I just learned that PokerNOW have stopped rakeback, and I can't find a deal worth taking on Intertops.

My problem is that I've got accounts at Party, Empire and Eurobet without rakeback (opened when I didnt know what rakeback was).
Now I've read that it's possible to e-mail customer support at a site like Empire, get them to close your account, and open a new one (with rakeback).
However, I also heard that you have to wait a certain time period before opening a new account, AND that it's quite difficult to get them to permanently close your account.
I have no problem with being able to open accounts (know all about having a clean computer, etc) but when I contacted Empire and asked them to close my account, they seem to have only 'temporarily frozen' it.
Can someone explain how I can get a new account w/ rakeback, or point me in the direction of an existing thread/FAQ about this.
