I "double dip" at Absolute and it has worked out quite nicely for me.
Visit www.rakebackreview.com for details on rates and how it works. Personally I earn 27.5% rake back. It is deposited into my AP account on the 15th of each month.
PM me if you want more details.

Also interpoker you can get both rakeback and monthly bonus.
No, it's not meaningless. $100 is always $100. If you win $5k in a month you would have won $5.1k. Money is always money. It's never meaningless.
Verdi I think you missed my point. Lets say I can make 5k on full tilt playing 30-60, this does not mean that I can make the same 5k playing a much harder 30-60 game over at stars. If stars wsa offering a reload for a specif week, it would be relatively meaningless to take my game to a harder game for 100, which is like 1/4 of a pot at that level to begin with. | | Static Link |

I don't know about all sites, but I know that the bonuses on Crypto sites are better than the rakeback at the levels I play at (.25/.50 and .5/1 NL). In the time it took to clear my monthly bonuses on most Crypto sites, I only earned about 1/3 the amount of bonus in RB with 28-35% RB deals. | | Static Link |

Well duh. The answer to whether IBM stock go up next month also depends on endless variables.
But after sifting through all the considerations, one must still arrive at a plan of action.
Should I buy IBM?
Should I jump from site to site, or stay in one place and collect 30% rakeback?

A. Playing at one place, with say 30% rakeback
B. Moving from site to site, always playing for a bonus
Are the bonus clearing requirements roughly high enough to guarantee a profit to the site, or they just cover the bonus or a portion thereof? I mean commonly.

10x bonus gives $0.21/$3rake
12x bonus gives $0.175/$3rake
15x bonus gives $0.14/$3rake
30% RB Full Ring gives $0.09/$3rake
30% RB 5 Handed gives $0.18/$3rake | | Static Link |

Bonuses are almost always a higher return than rakeback. That's why you will often see someone comment "equal to 50% rakeback so don't bother"
Rakeback really comes into play when you intend to find one site and stick to it. Primarily useful if you are a high-volume and/or high limit player. Some people really want to stick to one site as it's a lot easier than hopping all over the net chasing bonuses. They can also build a nice database with Pokertracker or similar programs or just take good notes to have good reads on people they play frequently.
For most of us who come to this site, obviously we like bonuses. That's what bonus whores is all about. We don't mind hopping around to site after site and often the limits we play at are more based on card play than people play.
For me personally, I play limits as high as 10/20 but generall 5/10 and lower. I have accounts on 52 poker sites and my wife (who does play for real... but y... | | Read Entire Entry |
