Haven't played there but have been in contact with them. This is their definition of a raked hand:
Quote: In order for the hand to be considered raked for the purpose of the bonus you must contribute to the pot. Just being dealt cards in a raked hand does not qualify the hand for the bonus. Remember, you must be playing on tables of $0.25/$0.50 or higher in order to receive the bonus. And the same 500 raked hand rule applies before being able to withdraw the bonus. Any amount from $50-$100 has the same 500 raked hand requirement. If you have any other question please write us again. Have a great day and we look forward to seeing you on our tables.
Edit: Minimum rake from the pot has to be 25c. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: TheBluffMaster at April 19, 2006, 3:42 pm | | Topic: New Prima Site - 5 Dogs Poker -not previously discussed here Forum: Bonus Whores | They have changed the conditions for the signup bonus again. 100% mach bonus max 100$. 500 raked hands to clear, another 500 to cash out. Theres also a 20% reload bonus at max 100$ and 500 raked hands to clear and probably 500 more to cash out.
If you can clear the reload concurrently with clearing the cashout requirement for the signup it would make a nice 200$ /7.5X bonus.

| Posted by: dgoldsmith at December 13, 2005, 7:00 pm | | Topic: New Prima Site - 5 Dogs Poker -not previously discussed here Forum: Bonus Whores | They've updated their T&Cs:
Quote: Terms and Conditions the $50 Bonus:
The following are the terms and conditions:
- On your initial deposit of $50 or more, receive a $50 bonus.
- Before you cash out, you must reach the deposit amount + bonus amount X 12 in raked hand activity before withdrawing any portion of the balance.
- Example: Deposit $50 + $50 Bonus = $100 X 12 = 1200 raked hands.
- A hand is considered a raked hand when a Player has contributed to the pot in a hand where the pot is raked a minimum of 25 cents.
- Should you have any questions, contact us toll free 1-800-805-1318 or email us to support@5dogspoker.com
So its at least a 24x contributed raked hands. Not good!!

They're affiliated with a sportsbook called platinumsb.com
SBR gives platinumsb a D+ rating upgraded from D
Apparently a couple of scam artists were associated with platinumsb but have been recently ousted, hence the upgrade. Caveat emptor

Dear Worthless Whore
The following are the terms and conditions that apply on the $250 Bonus:
This is a 100% match bonus on initial deposits of $50 or more. Maximum
bonus is $250.
In order to be eligible for the match bonus you must give the deposit amount X 8 in raked hands before we may credit the account with the
bonus. Unfortunately, Veronica did not specify the minimum table limits to play - I have e-mailed CS back with this question
For example, if you deposit $50, you then must reach a total of 400 raked hands in order to qualify for this promotion.
Deposit amount X 8 = Rake hand requirement
Be advised that we cover Western Union fees on deposits of $300 or
more.
Should you have any questions feel free to reply back to this email o
contact us toll free.

| Posted by: TheFakeG at November 15, 2005, 1:18 pm | | Topic: New Prima Site - 5 Dogs Poker -not previously discussed here Forum: Bonus Whores | OK, just got off of the phone with CS, and I'm a bit confused. First I was told that for every $75 in contributed rake a player gave, $50 was given back to the player (up to $250).
BUT....when I asked about keeping track of the contributed rake and how I can keep track of it (I like to play stupid when talking to new sites...which isn't too far of a stretch for me ), I was told that for every 250 contributed raked hands (rake equal to or higher than 25 cents), call or e-mail CS and get $50...max of $250 bonus total if you do 1250 raked hands!
That bit about $75 rake, get back $50 still bugs me, however - I think I might call CS again tonight and speak to someone else and get this straightened out (unless someone else does it before...the phone numbers are on the website if someone else wants to speak to them), but we potentially have a promising 5x bonus on our hands here! | | Static Link |

To me, if it is not clear, then I stay away. The best poker rooms will survive and the trash will fold. But hell, I don't even bother with that "crown" crap either.
To bad we didn't have reps from EACH poker room willing to clarify things HERE!

So you're on the right track. They do say "You must play poker to at least the amount of money deposited, in total stakes." Of course it isn't clear if this is a WR, the amount of rake you'd need to generate (which would suck), or what. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: TheFakeG at November 15, 2005, 10:28 am | | Topic: New Prima Site - 5 Dogs Poker -not previously discussed here Forum: Bonus Whores | Did my search, didn't see this site listed here, so here goes:
I was doing my twice-monthly look at Prima Poker's site, and noticed that there is a skin called 5 Dogs Poker. I clicked on it, and there was an advertisement for $250 bonus - yet the bonus information was nowhere to be found.
Anyone have any details on this yet? If not, I've already e-mailed CS - I'll post the info once I receive it. | | Static Link |
