Forum: Bonus Whores | Grinder - I wasn't aware that they applied the exact same conversion to your withdrawal as your deposit, even if they are months apart. Personally I have only made one deposit into the Crypto accounts, and simply let the winnings and/or bonus accumulate there, until I decide it is a "good time" to cash out. That decision can be made in part based on the currencies.
Either way: Shebang - playing at tables of another currency than your account is no problem whatsoever. Everything will get converted from - and back to - your $USD balance. And you don't risk loosing anything on the conversion. | | Static Link |

Forum: Bonus Whores | | Well, i am more interested in playing poker rather than profiting from hedging against foreign currencies. If i understand correctly some posts here, if you have a USdollar account and decide to play at another currency table, at the end of your session that money is converted back to your account at the same rate they used to convert your original buy-in for that session. Correct? So, there's really no hassle from playing in another currency if traffic in us dollars is sparse. It isn't that now you start to accumulate a balance in another currency in your account with the risk that before withdrawing to your US dollar neteller account that currency takes a nosedive because another country voted against the EU constitution or something. | | Static Link |

Then you can wait until the £ is strong (worth more $) before cashing out from the Crypto sites. That way you can earn extra $ that can cover most/all of the small currency conversion fees.
Not really correct - if you put in $200 and it convers to $110 in pounds your next $200 you take out will be that conversion.
You can't really make money becoming your own little money market.
HOWEVER - when you play you are playing in that days conversion.
If you win £10 Monday it might be worth $17.50 but win £10 Tuesday it might be $18.
The Neteller fee is very minor and I don't know where people think it's bad. | | Static Link |

Most of the Cryptos offer monthly no deposit bonuses - that is, you don't have to deposit any new money into the site in order to qualify. So just make an initial deposit into these sites, then you leave enough money there to be able to clear the bonus every month.
Once it has built up to where you have way more than you need in there - just cash it out to Neteller. You might end up paying a small percentage this time around as well, but since you are cashing out only winnings/bonus, you won't ever risk loosing any money, so to speak.

| Posted by: shebang at August 13, 2005, 9:59 am | | Topic: Crypto & US dollars? Forum: Bonus Whores | I have played at Interpoker,Caribbean, and PokerPlex and made deposits in USdollars and played only at USdollar tables. From the Crypto's site reviews, you should be able to ascertain whether the site accepts US currency and has those tables or not.
I have stayed away from playing at tables other than US currency for fear of being hit by unfavorable currency conversions. There were nights when there was hardly anything going at my limits in USdollars but a lot of tables in BPS. Figured that it might not be worth the bother to play for a few hours in another currency; a bit frustrating nonetheless. Don't really know whether that is much of an issue. Perhaps someone can shed some light on how their rate conversions work. | | Static Link |
| Posted by: superius at August 13, 2005, 9:49 am | | Topic: Crypto & US dollars? Forum: Bonus Whores | Hi guys. Just wondering if you can deposit/withdraw/etc... in US dollars at any of these sites? I noticed that a lot of them use british pounds (or euros?) as the currency. I don't mind playing in foreign currencies but I hate that neteller hits me with awful fees for conversion (as I'm sure most are aware).
Are there any USD friendly crypto sites? If you have to deal with the conversion fee do you find the bonuses are worth it or are they just to small and getting smaller when you add the convert fee?
Thanks guys. | | Static Link |
