I agree there is no reason why ideo slots which are far less limited than real slots should be so sterile.
By the way they do use the actual roms of the slots and you can download the original layouts and sounds with the ast majority of them.
Perhaps I should start a thread on whether people are satisfied with the current crop of ideo slots and if not what they would like to see introduced. I know casinos like Davincis Gold have I-slots but even these only offer a change of wallpaper rarther than a complete makeover.

are you saying that slots suck? I always do well with slots. Of course, I play BJ, VP, and Tri-card, but slots is how I get my big bang all the time. If it werent for slots, I'd never win. I just hit 900 and 1500 each on ONE spin at Lasseters. Maybe it is just luck, but it works for me! ( I deposited 100.00 total to get that 2400 )

There are all kinds of fun slots, from the old type one reelers (don't knock them, they pay out nicely sometimes) through ideo slots to free spin types, progressive jackpots, random jackpots and feature slots.
Slots are great fun to play and they do have some ery high wins.
Some have many small hits, some have few but large hits.

Its pretty much the first time I've played slots for real. I knew the ariance would be huge but I didn't expect to be taken down so quickly. Maybe I was just being a bit optimistic.
btw does anyone know if the payouts for the slots can be set by the casino? I suspect that ConnectToCasino could lower the payouts on their slots since the bonuses that they give all require wagering on slots (or keno) to meet the wagering requirements.

There have been a good many threads on the poor payout ratio on RTG slots especially Real Series slots. There are claims, however, that they do hit big if you have patience which is a rarity in gamblers. Playtech and MG slots are way better as you have some decent wins once in a while.

They don't tighten the slots. I am positive that none of the MG licensees have the ability to change odds.
I am sure it is the same as it is in Vegas. Have you ever seen one of those ads that state "we have the tightest slots in town"? What they do is set a few of their slots so they will have the highest payout...they then get you on the other slots that are not quite so lose.
What a lot of online casinos do is market the slots that are already tighter (higher margin for the casino) than the others so they can maximize their profits.
That is why you almost never see Blackjack tournaments or contests. Why bring in more customers to play games that the casinos don't make money on any way?

I've been enjoying the $1 slots at Micro casinos in the past couple weeks (Jurrassic, Double Magic, Cash Clams, Jetset, etc.)
Seem like a reasonable return (as far as slots go), and was wondering what the slots are like at the other major brands. Any player feedback regarding favourites, big wins, words of advice (besides not playing slots), etc. Has anyone ever hit the highest payout in these games - usually $800 when playing a buck.
$400 is my best hit in these type of slots. Only a few hours more self-restraint and torture before the cashout moves from the evil 'pending' status. A bit of a change from my usual blackjack meanderings - it's nice to switch the pace sometimes. Thanks.

So glad another MG slot player alidated that here, I was starting to think I was the only one who found those stats disturbing. The ONLY people who could understand are those who are familiar with the MG slots. Its sad to me that anyone would think those stats are typical...I would NEVER play if they were! But we have been assured that 3Dice slots behave precisely the same if one line is bet one coin, or if max bets are played on all lines. This is one hallmark of a truly fair slot, imo. QUESTION: I have been noticing that when I increase my bets to $10 the system shuts down. Many, many examples. Take my word for it. Another difference between internet and land base casinos. 5 cent slots avg 60% - 25 cent slots 85% - 1$ slots 95% and 5 & 10 $ slots 99%. Could it be that the software recognizes the amount of the bet and adjusts by lowering our chances? Sure seems like it does. Anyone else seeing this happen?

i do believe that their casino platform sets the all the games to pay out like slots or ideo poker. This includes all the table games. I"m sure it is like that in all online casinos. So if someone wins 8k on the slots this decreases the odds for all other games. not just slots.

I think casinos only have to set the average minimum payout of slots, but they can change the payout of every single machine daily. I am not sure how much is the minimum payout, I guess it's different from city to city.
Wizard of odds has conducted a research on the payout of slots in LV:

As you can see, the house edge of slots is 7-14%, about 14x - 28x more than BJ or fully paid VP.
I myself has use wizard's methodology on one RTG slot and find out the payout is 89-90%. Maybe MG offer better odds on slots, still they can change the payout anytime.
Maybe I've said too much. Without slot players, the online gambling industry would be no more.
As far as I know, slot players tend to love slots and will play slots no matter what the odds is. I am sorry if I offend any slot players in ayway but I must say it's a ery expensive habbit.

Just had terrible time on $l4US ($24A) BJ here - lc slots would have given me longer.
Last 4 times dreadful BJ, lc slots would have lasted longer LOL! I got a REAL kick out of getting $20 for l5c. on Mardi Gras - most ever online, but never get anything when .75-$l.50 bets, just not lucky with slots/vp online, only BJ gives me wins at times.

nash i have found that if i play the i-slots which are different then the regular 3 and 20 line slots the 2 that i've been able to make some good hits at was the bank heist one and my best hits on hole in one, as for the 20 liner ideo slots i usually only play hobos hoard as the rest sucked me dry

I usually play VP online, but sometimes I have a go at slots to break it up a little. I have got some good wins over the years on MG and Playtech slots, but Im damned if I can win anything reasonable at RTG slots.
Those new 9-line bonus games are REALLY bad in my experience.....has anyone actually won anything on these games??.
I also want to say that INetBet are the best RTG operation I have ever played at....nice going again in 2003 Emily and Co!

I had all kinds of trouble at first with Atlantic Interbet as I stated in a different post. It was having to do mostly with buying, transferring chips and getting the hang of the place. I do have to say one can lose quickly there, but I guess that goes with any casino. BUT, I can't believe this myself, concerning the slots, I played the 5 line 25 cent Gold Digger slots and got FIVE stars in a row and won $250. Still can't believe it. Hopefully, for once I won't get carried away and I will cash out with some money left! And I hope it isn't a hassle cashing out. But wanted you to know that it is possible to win there on the slots.

I played the 600% promotion.
Made a nice win after wagering more than $21000 on slots.
The RTG websites have a link that states thier payout on slots. Is it accurate - don't know. Which games are the best - it does not say. It looks like most RTG casinos advertise thet pay in the 95% range for slots.
They confirmed I met the wagering requirements in an e-mail.
Lets see how quick they pay. The website has 1-7 days. I will post a follow-up.

As someone who's plays both slots (as well as VP)-I do not believe the slots are rigged- as stated on my original post in response to lower payout claims- the same months people were complaining about reduced payouts (July August September) I had ery BIG slots wins at 3 RTG's- (Inetbet, Bodog and Geisha and all payed ery promptly)- its called streaks- sometimes its good sometimes its bad.
