ill give you 8 bucks on stars just for the heads up & not making an 'omg rigged post'

LOL that was a good one by both posters, but this just goes to show you, you could not give me 20 bucks to play on poker stars,, we wont go on a rigged trip here, got too many people with too much experience in the field of poker and when they see something wrong they call it and there is something wrong with joker stars the way the cards come out. Interesting you should mention poker stars by the way, cause alot of main bad beats I read about come from poker stars, one might say well there are more people there so more bad beats, nah its called monster flops and bringing in more rake, save your 8 bucks and buy a six pack on me. Why waste 8 bucks, maybe its just me but I have never came out ahead at poker stars.

ya pete, stars has some real sharp graphics. i take it you don't play much poker bro.

if ya 3 table at stars with average pots of $15 then you're prob going to spend $15 + in rake an hour.

stars gets every sucker that signs up through their ads. once a player wises up he'll play for bonus or at least get a rakeback deal.

that is unless you want to pay stars $1500 every 100 hours of poker for their spiffy graphics.

Pork, don't get pissed at Poker Stars for you not getting your $25 - blame the affiliate that you signed up through.

Poker Stars doesn't offer signup bonuses, only reloads - go to the place you signed up for Stars under and post your drivel there.

I'm sure every cardroom is different, but, by checking the poker Stars website: I can tell you, that using that software at Poker Stars is prohibited. You might want to check the other sites to see if they're the same, which is probably so.

Topic: hey, I LIKE Poker Stars... Forum: Bonus Whores
You know, I've been a good whore....I hit the major sites, I do my reloads and I stock up on bonuses for that rainy day. I hadn't played Poker Stars for about a year and have 3 reloads stacked up there.

With the Empire scare this month, I decided to forgo that site and work off some of the other things I have stacked. I got on Poker Stars expecting a bunch of sharks because that is all I've ever heard on the boards...Party/empire = loose, Poker Stars = tight.

What I've found (through Poker Tracker) is that at the 1/2 and 2/4 levels, Poker Stars is at LEAST as loose as party, and a whole lot looser than Crypto has been lately. The only thing I don't like is that Poker Tracker doesn't work as seamlessly with PS as it does with Party which makes Game Time less effective.

So Poker Stars is now on my main list...at least until I work off these stacked bonuses. I'll slow down then, but until that time comes, they are no longer on the back burner.

Only 40.50 to load $1,000.00 onto paytru with direct debit from bank account. No charge to transfer to poker stars, or to withdraw from poker stars. Only 2.50 fee to withdraw $500.00 from paytru at ATM machine. Withdrawal fees a good problem. Think poker stars is indirectly linked to Paytru. Maybe it'll last allot longer if thats true.

Why is poker stars the only site that will cash your money to neteller instantly I mean within 15 seconds? Absolute used to be pretty good 4-8 hrs now they say up to 48 hrs. what does Poker stars do that allows them to get it done when other sites can't? I treat poker stars like my bank. I think the money is safe there and when I need it bam there it is in neteller.

I've read a good part of the 101 guide as well as messages on the forums and the bonus grid and a lot of it's starting to make sense to me. But I don't get the Poker Stars recommendation at the beginning of 101 guide because Poker Stars doesn't offer a sign-up bonus. I mean, I want to start being a whore, but I can't if I put my money in Poker Stars. All I can do is play poker, which I'm already doing. So, maybe there's something I'm missing, but I don't get the Poker Stars rec.

I did notice that Poker Room, which I've been playing on forever, is now offering a reload bonus, so given that I'm already playing there (and winning there), I think I'll start whoring there. Once I've got that bonus done with, I'll put all the funds in Neteller and go to another site, probably Party Poker, since it's the one at the beginning of the guide. Also, the BW Hollywood Poker sign-up loo...

Yeah I know the old is it rigged debate show me some numbers ARGH! OK show me some numbers that prove it isn't! I do have poker tracker, of course you know this! Never used it in the rings on Stars and quite likely never will. I learned online poker playing at stars and have since moved. I think the random number generators are precisely why strange things happen. Anyways all I know is every single time I play on Stars miracles happen. Sure it is subjective about Stars being worse than other sites but I do know rare occurrences are NOT rare there!

Of all the Poker Sites on-line anymore which one is the Best. I started in Pacific and love it. Then I tried Party Poker then over to Poker Stars and finally over to Noble Poker. They all have their good and bad qualities but I'd like to know if there are better ones out there that I haven't been to yet. For me it's a toss up between Noble and Poker Stars.

Thats what it says on PS and on his own web site. Maybe the backers allowed him to give up work and go full time on the poker circuit

I won my seat for the 2004 WSOP on Poker Stars, and they are running numerous satellites and supers for this year’s event. Chris Moneymaker, the 2003 Champion, also won his seat on Poker Stars. It is pretty likely that the 2005 Champion will also qualify online, because I am guessing that close to half of all the participants will win their seats on Poker Stars or some other online site.

20 "stars" per $1 in tournament fees...

http://titanpoker.com/matchbonus_june05.html

1000 stars per $10 in bonus. So 50 $10+1 tourneys, is $50 in fees, which earns you $10. So 20% back. Doesn't sound very good. Isn't Poker Stars like %100?

just wondering if this would work...

Let's say i wanted to avoid wire transfers....

is it feasable for this to work...

I can deposit to p-stars directly from my bank.

So could i use p-stars as a "intersection" ?

By that I mean deposit say $1,000 into poker stars from my bank,
then with draw 500 from p stars to MB and C2P?

then use MB/C2P to fund other sites...

and when i want to cash out, take it from MB/C2P and deposit to P-stars, then withdraw to my bank?

or do i have to use MB/C2P atleast once before i can withdraw from pstars to them...

Bad cards breed bad play and maybe (just maybe) all those junk hands I was given just made me play badly. I dunno.

But, not wanting to sound too arrogant, with my current stats as follows:

PKR - UP $500
William Hill - UP $220
Coral Poker - UP $135
Paddy Power Poker - UP $100
Poker Heaven - UP $100
Party Poker - EVEN (Yes, I know, I hang my head in shame)

POKER STARS - DOWN $400!!!

There's something here that's telling me something: No, there's only one thing for it. (Personally speaking) Poker Stars gets wiped from my hard drive, never to return

Hi - I'm confused about most poker points myself. I play alot of "play money" on Poker Stars and you just get play chips. I don't think you get anything else. I use them for practice and sit and goes. If you hear about points there, please post. Poker Stars has frequent player points for real money raked hands that you can use towards tournments.

I know on Jet Set I have .98 points - not even one! So I guess I should play more.

P.S. Nick! Do you have a Bonus for Poker Stars!! for Cardschat!! ? I think I will add some money to Paradise - thanks for the code.

I was checking my Neteller account today to determine if an Absolute Poker cashout had been credited when I noticed a $500 debit to Poker Stars from Neteller. The debit was dated yesterday, 12/3.

In a semi-panic, I tried to log into my Poker Stars account and it told me my password was invalid.

Poker Stars allows you to have a new, temporary PW emailed to you, so I followed this route and changed my PW again, to something different than before.

Thankfully, the $500 was still in my account, so I guess I caught this in time before it was transferred to another player or dumped at a table.

Poker Stars security has emailed me already with a list of very detailed questions so they are on the job.

The reason for this post is to let you know that this CAN happen, even to folks who have been at this for years. I was lucky to catch it in time but it is disturbing that someone was able to access my account without my knowledge or permission, change my passw...

This is my situation with Cake. I'll compare it to Poker Stars to rattle some cages and get a handful of replies. First of all Bonuses. Cake gives it out like candy and it's easy to earn. Poker Stars doesnt give shit. For all the money they make they dont give out nothing. FPP's, big deal. I'd rather have the bonuses and rakeback. I understand Cake's software sucks and multitabling is hard. I just MT 3 tables cause thats all I can handle there. MT anymore than that is suicide. Also, the pot sizes are close to double that of Stars for the same tables. As far as cashouts I havent done one for I've only played ther for 4 days. But I'll be using ePassporte (same as my deposit) then removing it from there. I'll do a withdrawal mid next week, hope everything goes well. Of course Cake doesnt have the tourneys like Stars, but I'm not a tourney player. Stars should give monthly reloads to Silver players and above. Is that to much to ask? I don't think they are running the same traffic level though. Full Tilt currently has 25,000 players, while Poker Stars has 90,000. More players at Stars should normally mean better games and more fish, but in my experience, that has not been the case in the past. Can't speak for the last week though, haven't played at Stars in a month. FT however, was fairly loose last weekend but appears to have tightened up a bit the last couple of days.

Topic: Forecasting how long these nice bonuses will continue Forum: Bonus Whores
I agree with Christopher, Poker bonuses will probably have to continue just for sites to have a chance to compete (i.e. steal players from Party Poker and Poker Stars). I am new to whoring (started a week ago) and even though I have played on Poker Stars exclusively for nearly a year, I cashed out all of my money from there yesterday to whore with it It's amazing to me that Poker Stars offers so few incentives to keep players at their site. I really like their multi table tourneys but I am tired of playing at their site when there are mucho bonuses to be had elsewhere. Besides if I leave for a few months I will probably get an invitation to come back for a 20% reload bonus...So why would I wanna stay at their site when they will probably pay me to come back if I leave It seems like a vicious cycle to me, one condusive to whoring might I add...lol.

Didn't Poker Stars already have quite a few people qualified for the WSOP last year by now? They haven't even started the Sat's yet. Another thing I'll never understand about Poker Stars, is that they don't give reloads more often. Do sites really lose that much money though reloads? I would think that it would create alot more business for the site. So their giving VIP points. Big whoopie deal. I dont see the attraction. I was read here at BW about someone 1/4 of the way to earning enough VIP points for a 20" T.V. I figure they should have their T.V. by early June. Screw that. I've whored enough for the T.V. in just Feb. alone. Poker Stars should give bi-monthly bonuses if they wany to compete and get some of the traffic from Party. Is that the concept of business?

Since most of the bigger and better online poker sites have shut down to US players, I found Poker Stars to be the easiest way to get money to and from. So of course I started to play mostly at that site.

Now I expect plenty of bad beats and suck outs just like any other site online. And like any other eteran playing online, my game of course is adjusted for online play.

But I have never witnessed such endless abuse as what I'm seeing at poker stars. Boats losing to bigger boats, sets losing to bigger sets, etc. etc. And its not just bad players getting lucky. From my two months playing at poker stars, I've seen the underdog no doubt winning more, then any where else I played.

Its at the point that when you see something like AA s QQ, you could bet money on the QQ spiking. If I was able to wager on outcomes I could probably make money at Poker Stars instead of wanting to jump on a knife.
