I just started whoring poker room for the first time. Have been having a good run and making money on top of the bonus so far. I just read something on the forum about Hollywood poker being a poker room skin. I did not know there were poker room skins.

Are there others?

It's not in the interest of a poker room to rig games, in fact the fairer the games the better for them.

Since you are playing against other players and not the house, whether you win or lose the poker room only gets the rake or tournament fee that you have paid. Therefore it is actually in their interest to have the fairest possible software to keep players playing and coming back to the poker room.

You also have to consider that at a busy online poker room there are hundreds to thousands of hands being dealt at the same and that overall their hand statistics over time will be about correct.

Any good online Poker Room will close your account if you are using them to move or transfer money around, you go to a Poker Room to play Poker, not to launder money.

Topic: Advice on what to put on a Vegas Poker Room Review Site Forum: Card Chat

Thanks for the tips for my website.

My room condition rating focuses on the room itself but maybe I can revise my player's review form to also reflect what a player feels about the room relative to its location in the casino, noise, etc...

I do notice that some players like to do sportsbook while sitting at the table, so if it is near the sportsbook area, that probably would be a bonus for a particular poker room.

Do you know specifically, off hand, which casino's have their poker rooms close to their sportsbook?

Cheers,
Vegas Cat

Poker.com is going back to being just an informational portal. They have created a network with the first room being called Carbon Poker. It says that existing players with Poker.com will play along side Carbon poker players as well as any new rooms being created on the new network.

"Carbon Poker is a brand new poker room powered by the Merge Gaming Network. Carbon Poker offer more poker games than any other online poker room and players signing up from Poker.com receive a special 100% bonus!"

The Poker Room reload could be worth up to $200 to you if the right team wins so that might influence your thinking. Right now my plan of action is to make the deposit at Poker Room and withdraw immediately, then deposit that into Paradise. If you still haven't got to Empire yet that might influence your thinking but the sheer amount of the Poker Room bonus might affect your plans.

Boy, that poker room question is a double sided coin. You will probably not get any lukewarm answers on this one. I for one love poker room and have my best results there in terms of profit at the tables. On the other hand, the party skins that everyone else seems to do so well on... I get buttraped every time I play there.

So poker room?

Folks either love it or hate it ... no middle of the road with this one. Is the bonus worth it? ... I would (and do) play there without a bonus.

Very interesting.

Where does this leave Empire? They surely will not go to that crappy platform with Noble, et. al.??? Their shares already went from 250+ to 73. More room to the downside now? Sell Mortimer, sell!!!

The Eurobet move to the Poker Room platform is a step in the right direction. For some reason, I've made more per hour on the Poker Room skins than anywhere else.

The new poker room bonus code vendor is out but expires on monday. I have 300 in my net teller account and I am a days play away from clearing a bonus on UB. So I don't want to miss this poker room oppertunity.

If I load up the 300 on poker room and use the vendor code to get the 20%. Then if I complete the UB bonus and cash out before monday, can i load up the money from UB onto Poker Room via net teller and get 20% on those funds also?

Or should I wait until all my money is in Net teller and do it all at once. (slight possibility the cash out won't be complete in time)

Any help on this matter is appreciated

Matryx wrote: after signing up at sportingodds, I realize they don't take neteller. How are you guys withdrawing from these sites. Are there any fees involved?

I spoke with a live chat CSR, and this is what he told me.

1) For US residents, the only available option for withdrawal is by bank transfer. The CSR says it should take 3-5 business days for the transfer to go through. There are no fees for the bank transfer.

2) Once you complete the bonus at the SportingOdds poker room, do the following to transfer the funds from the poker room to your SportingOdds account.

To transfer your funds from the Poker room, please ensure that you are logged out of the Sportingodds homepage (sportsbook). In the Poker room click ËœExit Poker", followed by ËœYes" to confirm. If you then log in to the Sportingodds homepage with your existing username and password you should find that your funds have automatically transferred.

Hope that helps!

Why do people confuse a poker table with a chat room? If I want to play poker, I go to a poker table. If I want to chat then I go to a chat room!

Okay, in an ideal world it may be nice to do both at the same time, but since when did we live in an ideal world? If you are sufficiently sensitive that moronic comments will offend you, then switch off chat, or block the offender. If you can't live without chat, then quit the poker session and go to a moderated chat room!

I like my poker room because it has the best tournament structure in town and because the poker room manager, Mooskie, carries around a Sponge Bob Squarepants bat.

Greetings All:

Are online poker rooms rigged? Yes. Do they have HIGH TECH non random dealing software? Yes. Is the room set up to enhance play, create wild community boards and outlandish river catches, hence increasing your amusement and their rake? You bet!

I found the cure for all of the above. You want it? I will not post the remedy to all your frustration here in a public forum room. Because then it will no longer be exclusive info, resulting in counter measures being initiated by the poker software industry.

Wouldn’t you just love to go in a room and receive a fair shake? No badbeats (other than natural ones) and just let your skill do the winning, not some crazy unbalanced community board? If you knew of an online poker room that was straight up, no enhanced software, you would flock to the tables, right? I am not going to give you another poker room to go to. You can remain in the poker room of your choice! E-mail me at, to get the cure for your pain and frustrations! ...
