You won't see anything at all until you leave a table. When you do, the bonus should be credited to your account like below. You can see a credit for the pay-to-play bonus, a debit of that amount to table chips, and it also shows up in the chips cashed in at the first table you cash out (I only had $54, not $91, when I left the first table).
As far as I could find, there is no status or other info about the bonus in the poker program itself.

Everyone I enjoy collecting chips I buy them for an investment, a great gift or to just sit around on a Sunday afternoon with some mates and have a game of poker.
Instead of playing with normal chips we often play with chips which are rare, I find it more exciting, just wondering if anyone else likes collecting poker chips.

Hi, I am having a poker tournament night with a group of friends and I have a few questions to ask. We are playing Texas holdem No-limitpoker
This is what we have decided on:
There are going to be 6 players including me (take turns in being dealer)
Buy in for 1000 chips is £10
I still havnt bought the chips so I will need to know how many i will need to buy.
Ive decided that each player is going to have this number of chips
20x£5 + 16x£25 + 5x£100 = £1000 chips which is 41 chips each.
Am I right in thinking that I will need 250 (246) chips? Or do I need more?
I also need to know what the blinds should be, and how often they should be increased.

Actually this can also be demonstrated on a much smaller scale with poker chips. How many of us sit there at the table riffling chips? I know I do.
Start with two piles of chips, four chips per pile, each pile a different color. Now riffle them together correctly so that the chips from the two piles alternate as they come together. Now take the top half down again and repeat. After a few passes, you will find yourself exactly how you started out (two piles, four chips per pile, each pile one of the two colors).
Pretty cool.

I just got them because I don't have a set of them. The noiseless ones.
They are to light for my liking. I like chips with weight to them.
The noiseless chips don't riffle well either.
One day I want to get a set of Catalin chips.
For now I work on completing the bakelite ones.
And you are right. Noiseless chips. What is the point in that.

Wouldn't it be nice if they comissioned Chipco or Paulson to do a set for them? They could then sell chips for their FPP. It would be perfect for them because 1) we are paying anyway 2) Quality chips w/ logo will get much more exposure than shirts and cap 3) they would be the first to do it.

I already did transfer my money from poker chips into my betting account before I started this thread. Anyhow, unfortunately I nowhere see a possibility to withdraw to neteller. The money has to be in the betting account in order to be able to cash it out, right?

Somewhere on this forum I found info about selling your play money chips.
I went to the link POKER CHIPS PLAY CHIPS BUY AND SELL PLAY MONEY POKER BONUSES and sold $2 mil for $20. It was legit & took about 5 min. I wish I knew about this sooner as I was broke for quite a while & could of used the $20.00 on the site.
Anyone have comments ?
If your a halfway good player it beats the hell out of freerolls to start a bankroll.

But, I do have a an incomplete set of bakelite chips pretty nice. I just want to complete the set before using them. Some nice noiseless paper chips. And I bought 200 plain clay chips that are real nice as well. Only paid $4 for them. 2 cents a chip. I think these chips are like 15 or 20 cents so I made out like a bandit.
Just no table.

on t i see how guys stack there chips when they bet like either they spreade it out in like four rows of 5, put a stack of 20 in there, splash chips into the pot or slide them over like falling dominos. is there any rule of thumb how to lay your chips out into the pot. Plus any other kind of unwritten casino poker rules would be appreciated

If you are taking bad beats (Best hand when chips go in and gave bad pot odds to other player). You are playing good poker.
If you are giving the bad beats (Not best hand when chips go in and calling with bad pot odds). You are playing bad poker.
I don't get upset when people hit their 4 outers. I like it because I know that they are going to lose those chips. The only concern is whether it is to me or someone else.

4 handed game. Grumpy player in big blind bets out I hold Top 2 pair A,K. I raises, he reraises. He is short stack so I push. Suddenly, from behind his black birds he pulls out, 3 big chips, effectively putting all of MY chips on the line. I politely call the floor stating that according to their policy, larger chips have to be in front. They stated that it was too late, and then reminded him that big chips need to be isible in front, so opponents have an accurate count of chip power.
He had a set of jacks and busted me. I never would have pushed had I thought he had 3 huge chips hidden behind his 100 dollar chips...
Folks, play poker... don't shoot angles, and by the way I have played with him before, he knew damn well what he did.
Big chips belong in front, dont do the chip ambush..
I am a bit upset. This is not a bad beat post, but a post about angle shooting! Anyone ever have an angle shot at them?

OK I'm not that good at knowing what is good or not when it comes to chips but this link is just to damn expensive for me. I never knew that casino's spend thousands maybe even millions on poker chips. Nice link but I'm going to have to stay away from the best quality of chip sets

On the Poker Strategy the article http://www.cardschat.com/playing-live-poker.php states, “Keep your larger denominations in front so others can see them. You need to allow others to see your larger chips easily otherwise you will get asked for a chip count a lot.”
Could someone elaborate on this?
Playing 25/50 ring games, I have found that it is better to keep my larger denomination chips in the back. Is someone new to the table sees a gob of $25 and $50 chips and some $100 chips; they aren’t quite as threatened by me, which can be to my advantage. New comers to the game see an average stack, missing the couple of $1000 chips in the back of my tray, if they try to target me and I’ve got a good hand they can be in for quite the surprise.
Additionally, they are more difficult to knock out of the trays on accident and harder for pick-pockets to take.

I'm looking for the heavy chips that have "World Series of Poker" on each chip, but I can't seem to find any... and those I find on eBay that claim they are WSOP don't seem to have any logo's on the chips plus S&H is crazy... $25-$50 bucks in S&H!
Anyone know where I can find some solid chips that I'll want to use? Got some at Wal-Mart for $19.95 that look and feel good, but they're not as good as the WSOP chips... not as heavy.

Funny that this question came up. I was at Gamer's Paradise tonight and was nosing around in their limited poker section. They had a case of WSOP branded poker chips. I'll take a prop that they aren't real WSOP chips (since they seem to look so much different), but they are marked as such. So if you are just looking for a set that says WSOP, they are out there.

Ive seen EVERYTHING playing @ Ultimatebet u can have bullets and push all in there will be somebody calling ya. With no alue to the FAKE CHIPS people have nothing to loose and @ Ultimatebet the site gives u 1000 chips once ur bankrupt anyway so there no incentive to keep them in ur stack when its low, Poker Stars have 3 rebuys an hour for fake chips (I THINK) that helps a little but there are still the people that JUST DONT CARE it seems. My suggestion is get the CREDIT CARD out put in 25 bucks and try the real money games players alue THEIR chips because they actually have VALUE and whats 25 bucks. you will waste $25 somewhere else and not have near as much fun doing it.

Collecting, no. But trying to find old intage chips that I like yes. I wouldn't say I collect them since I only have 2 old fashion poker chips but I still like having a couple of them. I also have a 500 chip from the WSOP which I now use as a card protector.

so i played $1-$2 6max and i can tell you taht it was a lot easier adjustment due to the natural aggression of the game and less stress on the math of the game

Hi I play poker for fun, So I play play money alot.
The other night I was in a tournament the other night. I had K 10 off suit. I think that I raised double the blind befor the flop. The flop hits and it is K 10 of dimonds and 6 of hearts. I go all in to scare the fishers away. They call. After calling me one guy had 462 in chips ,the otherhad 10 in chips the other folded. The turn was a 7 of spades. They both check. The river was a 9 of something. The guy with 462 in chips puts the 10 in. Well the guy ended with a stright K to 9. The guy with 10 chips had K 3 off.
I was wondering how do I scare flush and stright draws off ?
Or did I do the right thing?

I can relate. I had over 500 million play chips taken from me and was banned from playing on Full Tilt Poker after complaining about the number of people who sold chips or used foul language. Without any proof on their part, I was told that I was banned because I sold chips. Can you believe that! Banned when all I did was contact support of others doing this practice. After asking to speak to a supervisor, I was then told that I was abusive and rude to the staff at Full Tilt Poker. I've tried to set up another account, but whatever software they have in place, they seem to know that it comes from my computer each time I try to do it and I get messages saying that the user id is invalid.
