Topic: No More Canadian Real Money Players At Tower Forum: Bonus Whores

Just logged into my Tower Gaming account for the first time in over a month, planning to resume working on my stacked holiday bonuses, when I saw this message at the top of the deposit screen:

Quote: Canadian players cannot deposit and play for Real Money at Tower Gaming. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions or contact Customer Support for more information.

Now, according to the last section of their T&Cs:

Quote: 12. REAL MONEY PLAY RESTRICTIONS

Tower Gaming does not accept any new Real Money players from the following countries:

United States, Canada, Israel

This restriction has been implemented due to inadequate transaction methods for players from these areas and is subject to change with the development of deposit/withdrawal services. Unless federal laws state otherwise, existing Real Money players from these countries or new players wishing to sign up for a Play Money account may play on the site.
The stated reason for including Canada on their restricted list is weak at best, especially when a country like Turkey (along with Israel and the U.S.) is totally unable to even access Neteller and yet is not mentioned I wrote as much in my email to Tower enquiring about the situation and here's what I got in response:

The decision to no longer allow new Canadians to play for real money at Tower Gaming is an internal decision. It was based on the increasing difficulty Canadian players' face when attempting to fund their accounts. The current e-commerce climate for Canadians is having an adverse affect on the exceptional customer service that we wish to maintain as a key part of our brand offering here at Tower Gaming.

We are not aware of any upcoming laws in Canada that will restrict Canadians playing and this is solely an internal decision.

After reviewing your specific account, I can confirm that you are able to continue to play but you will not be able to deposit into your Tower Gaming account.

We continue to welcome new Canadians to play our play money games.
