One thing you can do to hide your IP adress is to pay and use a proxy server. Then your coming from an anonymous adress that can't be traced. The problem with that is, you still have to use your personal information on the poker sites and such. Although like they say, the internet gaming industry is a 12 Billion dollar a year industry. They should be able to come up with some money to prevent this bill from being passed. Big government is all about money, and it shouldn't be too hard with 12 billion a year to buy off enough votes to keep this bill from being passed. Its pretty pathetic that I might not be able to continue working as a poker player, because some religious fuck doesn't think its OK for me to support myself through a game of skill. Seriously, if this passes it will really suck ass. Even if all us professionals fine a way around it, what will the games be like with nary a fish in the water? Not fun! I think if anything passes, it might be a law against online casinos and games of chance. It will be hard for them to pass a bill outlawing poker, due to its recent popularity and that it is a game of skill. Keep your fingers crossed! |
