ok, i thought i posted everything clearly and thoroughly, but let me do a quick sum up. All of the events have an overlay that goes toward 2 things:

The overall points standings for all events
The TOC (tournament of champions)

The overlay money will be paid out when the BWSOP is over as follows:

TOC: 20%
Pts. winner: 50%
2nd in pts.: 20%
3rd in points: 10%

The reason I need people to PM me to get the password is to ensure that they pay the overlay for the tourney before entering. The overlay was designed to reward the top overall players at the end of the series. Alot of people on here expressed a desire to set up a stribg of tourneys to help get people qualified for the world series events. This structure was designed to covered two things:

1) A series of tournaments with fellow BW posters in various games.
2) The "overlay" would provide extra prize money to reward the overall champion with a sum of money that would be equal to a WSOP event buyin.

So far, I havent had much interest since setting it up. This surprises me, because there were a number of people who wanted to do something like this when we were throwing the ideas around. I kept the buyins and overlays relatively low and set up more tourneys so that the money could build up gradually and it wouldnt be too big a dent for one tourney for anybody. Now that I have this setup, there seem to be alot of people crushing it.

I based the dates and time on the polls I setup and what people voted for. Based on the number of votes, I gathered that there would be 15-18 core people interested and we might have some stragglers jump in along the way. So far, only colorado has PMed me.

Some vote numbers on the polls:
votes in the date selection polls (14 in one, 15 in the other)
votes for BWSOP vs. bracelet races (16 for BWSOP, 2 for races)
votes for BWSOP buyin amounts (21 votes)
votes for start time (19 votes)

so, based on these numbers, I would think either there is a good deal of interest, or people just like to vote in polls.

So, going forward, I don't know what you guys want to do. I thought it would be good competition among fellow whores to have our own mini-world series and reward the overall best players with some extra cash and send 1 or 2 to some events. I will be going forward as planned, but if there has to be at least 8-9 people to even HAVE each tourney, so we will see how it goes.
