Why do you think you can win money playing poker? I assume you have limited PokerTracker data to support a projected win rate, else your bankroll wouldn't be $1,000. Maybe you were a big winner in prior years and had to spend down your bankroll lately? And if so, why are you asking us a question to which you already know the answer?
It is very rare that some one with a modest bank roll just out of college can justifiably expect to beat the on-line games for big bucks. It could happen, but I would not plan on it.
Best advise - go get a real job. You paid big bucks and years of work getting a college degree. Use it. On-line poker is not a place to be risking your last $1,000 especially with the harsh whoring environment.
If you must play poker to make the money, I'd find a donkfest live game at the university. If I had to make good money fast, a live game is much easier path to sucess. Still very risky, but much more doable than winning a big MMT vs good players.
If you must play poker and whore out the money - then look at the clearance for the Bodog bonus. The bonus grid shows its $3/hr for full ring 1/2 LHE. Thats 2000 table hours for $6,000 and I think the grid is quite optimistic at that rate.
