Given this turn of events, I think the 2006 WSOP was the high water mark for head count and prize pool for many years to come.

This is the same as last year, so the policy hasn't changed. Most of the big sites don't give you the cash until you are actually there.

My aussie millions was handled a similar way even though they have no laws here. They didn't actually buy my entry until i showed ID and stuff.
