The % of the bonus is irrelevant. The $ amount and hand clearance requirement is.

As far as the rake goes, the bonus covers any increased rake several times over. If you're playing there after the bonus clears, why? I've moved on to the next bonus.

And do full time players really play .5/1 or 1/2? When you get up to 3/6 or so, the rake at Party is the same as most anywhere else, 5% to $3. So full time players shouldn't care.

Really, their rake hike at $5 and $12.50 only hurts the casual player who isn't aware enough to bonus whore or go somewhere where the rake is less *coughParadisecough* and I wouldn't be surprised if they did it specifically to cover the cost of all these bonuses we're getting.

So the greedy bastards of the poker industry and the greedy bonus whores are taking advantage of the casual player.
