As far as propping goes, a rake rebate returns a player's contributed rake back to him/her. For example:
If there's 10 players dealt into a hand, and during that hand, $1 is raked off the table, each player's contributed rake is $.10 ($1 divided by 10 players.) At the end of the pay period (usually a week) you get the total of your contributed rake back. What this works out to in terms of hourly rate, I have listed at www.premierpokerprops.com.
