How's this for a bad play.
Fatshaft on small blind with KcKh on 6 seater £0.50/£1 NL.
All players call, and I raise to £5.
3 callers - £22 in pot.
Flop Qs9s7d. Scary flop so I come out betting £10. Fold/fold, button raises to £20. I have £30 left so go all-in thinking I am against the flush draw.
Button calls
Turn 9h (well is he has ace nine I'm cooked)
River As. Marvelous, the flush comes, and if he was an ace chaser he made that too
Showdown, the button folds
What on earth was he playing that didn't have an ace, 9 or flush draw in it?
Can only assume that he had JT and was chasing the straight draw, which makes it an even worse bet than my all-in re-raise. Without a made hand he was even underdog to the flush draw if I had it.
