What you describe is correct. By signing in to the Poker Client the first time with your sportsbook ID, you created a poker account with the identical information.
But had you not yet signed in to the poker client but tried to transfer funds from the sportsbook to poker, you would have gotten an error message (since they would see you have a sportsbook account but not yet a poker account).
Good for you that your computer worked with the poker client, but for some people they create a sportsbook account and download the poker client, but when they try that first poker sign in, they get disallowed for having a related poker account. The first time sign in to the poker client is a key step that can fail (although if it works it is so simple since all your personal info is automatically available from your sportsbook account).
Bottom line, be safe, do your first poker client sign in from a clean computer. |
