I wonder if the Golden Age of poker bonuses is already behind us. The glory days where Party poker assaulted us with reload after reload appear to be over. Now I only get the occasional Emprie / Party reload. And Party has been creeping their hand requirements up from the 5 raked hands per $1 to seven and sometimes ten.

$0.20/hand was probably one of the best bonuses out there. Most other sites have $0.10/hand or less.

The lack of great bonuses makes me wish I had done some Dan the Man antics to stock up, but I think 16 Empire accounts is fifteen to many for me. I have even been thinking of contacting Empire/Intertops/Party and have all three of my accounts cancelled so that six months from now I can signup to play with some type of rake back deal.

But six months without one of the best poker rooms on the Internet seems like a death sentance. As they continue to reduce the bonus payouts I keep thinking I should bite the bullet and play elsewhere for six months. Maybe Dan can loan me one of his 16 Empire accounts.
