I haven't used the IGMPAY bonuses yet, so I signed up today. Instead of doing the little-bank-deposit deal, they asked me three multiple-choice questions, two of which were about what city a particular address was in, and one of which was about which people I had been associated with in my life.
One address I lived in 15 years ago. One address was my parents', where I haven't lived for over 20 years (but I use it as a mailing address sometimes). The people listed were my parents, one of whom has been dead for 15 years.
Anyone else run into this, and does anyone else find it creepy?
Most importantly, does anyone know where they get this info? They asked for the last 4 of my SS number, which I gave them, but that doesn't allow them to pull my credit, does it?
If I had just refused to answer these questions, would they have done the mini-deposit verification thing?
