You would think that. Except 95% of their tournaments have rebuys and add-ons. And most of the regular players there have hundreds of tourny bucks stored up. A $50 guaranteed $5 tournament with only 6 or 7 entrants usually ends up with a prize pool of $80+.
It's not much fun to play there.
Not the tournaments I have been watching. Here is my personal sample (which are the numbers used on bw's own tournament listings) with rebuys and add-ons added into the prizepool:
$500 guaranteed 20+2, overlays of $200,$0,$0,$60
$200 guaranteed 10+1, overlays of $10,$90,$50,$70,$0,$30
$100 guaranteed 10+1, overlays of $50,$50,$30,$20,$30,$50
$100 guaranteed 10+1(omaha); overlays of $0,$10,$0,$0,$0,$50,$30
$100 guaranteed $5+0.50, overlays of $25,$25,$40,$45,$0,$25,$40
$20 guaranteed 2+0.20, overlays of $12,$12,$2,$4,$4,$4
These are very nice overlays, especially when you consider how low some of the guarantees are. |
