freerolls is how I got my start. I won $5 in a freeroll and lost it all. Then I won $5 again, in another freeroll. That $5 has turned into $2300. I estimate $1000 of that is from being a good whore, the other $1300 is luck/skill.

I think freerolls are the best way to learn. Why use your own money to figure out you can't beat the game? If you can't win freerolls, you can't win any poker at all so just forget about it.
