FWIW I totally agree with you and some of the bonuses that at first glance I thought were total crap are actually awesome if you play 2/4 or 3/6. And some of these sites have really good action at these levels. In particular I have found Absolute to be much better once I stopped playing 1/2 and hit the 2/4 and 3/6 games, there are some big-time fish in these games, especially at the 6-max, and some really good full games come out every once in a while too at these limits. Also the clear rate is very high in these games, and while I'm not sure I believe you get double points for 3/6 (I tried to check this while playing and I think you do,) if so, that is a 5x bonus where almost every hand is raked. And wow, even though the bonus is crap and you can only play one table (I signed for rakeback); the Fast Poker/Sportingbet network has some of the most awesome 2/4 through 4/8 games I have ever seen, these games are looser than the .5/1 party by a large margin!
I might check out bodog, the one time I visited there was only one 3/6 game and after that only micros for limit action, but that 3/6 game was 55% to the flop and over 50 avg pot for a 9 handed game. However I did check just now and all the open games they had were fairly tight.
