I've cleared a few Stars bonuses while playing Limit.

To clear the max bonus you'll need 600 FPP's

At .50/1 you need a $10 pot to earn 1 FPP. This is insanely slow and you'll only earn about 1 FPP per orbit.

At 1/2 you need a $15 pot to earn 1 FPP. This is somewhat more reasonable and I actually think the 1/2 tables are slightly looser than the .50/1 tables.

At 2/4 and above you need a $20 pot to earn 1 FPP. I have no experience at this level but you would definately be clearing the bonus much faster the higher you are willing to play.

Sit & Go's also work reasonably well. You'll clear 5 FPP's for each $10+1 S&G you play (5pp's for each $1 fee) which is a complete fee refund. The $5 + .50 you earn 3 FPP's making it a better deal but it will again take longer to clear. I've had great success in both the $5 and $10 S&Gos at Stars but competition starts to impove at $20 level. I actually find the Stars $5 & $10 easier than parties.
